Today is BLACK FRIDAY here in the Pacific Northwest, but I'm as broke as a joke, so no shopping for me. There aren't many things that I want that I'm willing to pay money for, anyway: food, books, music, milkshakes... That's about it... Besides, our recent trip to Disneyland left us in debt, which is how you're supposed to do it in the U.S. You BORROW and pay back with interest (instead of being silly and either saving up until you can actually AFFORD something or, even more nonsensical, realizing when you don't NEED something and just not spending money on it!)
Still, we had some experiences that we (as a family) will never forget! (Took some great pictures, suffered with the family doing all that walking, and ate some FANTASTIC icecream! Certainly believe that the trip was worth the suffering (the terror of the flight, the discomfort of death-marching around a giant park when you're as old and broken as I am, and the inevitable months of brokeness we will now have to endure...) I'm sure we'll plan another trip in a couple of years...
What I'd LIKE to do is plan some RETIREMENT stuff... STUFF!!! (We'll see what happens...)
