Today started horribly with my younger daughter calling in a panic. Her favorite pet had "left us" in the night. Elvis was in complete despair. Not much we could do but go get her---despite a rare snow storm. 

The family rallied, and we made it through...so far. (I'm no stranger to loss, but this was one of El's first hardcore losses.)

That's about all I've got the energy for tonight. Thanks fur listening...
