For those confused by what I wrote above, I apologize. One of the Tweeterz groups that I belong to (the TEZTRASH collective) has decided to make spooky trashart for October. There aren't any particular rules for playing along with this, just making cool, spooky art, and using the tag #TRASHTOBER in the metadate for the tokenized piece and in whatever social media messages you use to draw folks to your scary pieces! For some reason, a handful of cryptoartists who I follow on Tweeterz have found their way to (often BACK TO) Tumblr... (VERY STRANGE!) Here's an example of one of my recent posts from that platform!
"One thing, as an aging punk/fool, that really BUGS me is feeling - ALL THE TIME - like I'm just trying to get folks to BUY my artz... But that's not me. Not who I am... (I know foolish secrets!)
I just want to make folks smile, laugh, feel good.... I like to imagine that my ARTZ (which I make in a punk/Dada/primitivist style) is silly and "rough" enough that just about ANYONE can look at it and say, "I could draw that!" Maybe they'll even TRY! (THAT would be awesome!)
Everyone can and should make art! Contribute to the collective culture! Leave a little bit of YOU behind!!!
