So more images of the Spanish Armada's AV8/Harrier display.. The Harrier is capable of short take off and vertical landing, including the ability to hover in the air...  Using nozzles that blows the jet air downwards as you can see above, it can just hang in the air... You'll know its about like, cos christ it's noisy. The RAF sold its remaining Harrier's to the USA air force, and have bought the F35's to replace it, albeit coming in a few years without any waterbased aircraft carrier ability. Which has been filled with the Queen Elizabeth class aircraft carriers coming online and the f35's being delivered.. both are now in use..  The F35 also turned up at Yeovilton, its just as noisy.. Which do you prefer??  This man is a pilot, has a beard and a cool helmit... does life get any better??

The F35 is awesome but the Harrier is just classic, and of course the first VTOL jet to prove itself in combat. Some image problems with this post like the last Harrier post. Maybe the image server can't handle the badass?
