Build Him Up: Assembling My Kakashi Chibi Lego

Yesterday my order online arrived and it's the cute Kakashi chibi lego I ordered almost a week ago. I was really thrilled when it arrived and immediately, I tore the parcel open. The lego pieces were really small and just seeing how many pieces I needed to assemble somehow scared me. But for the love of my ultimate anime *husbando*, I need to endure. So when morning came, I started preparing for my workplace.

After tidying my place, I brought out the plastic pack that contained the tiny pieces and also the assembly instructions. I carefully cut the plastic pack so that no piece would be missing. And then, I followed the note in the assembly instructions, which said that I should first classify the blocks according to their colors and shapes.

At first, I find it difficult to sort them out because they're too tiny. It took me more than 20 minutes just to properly sort them out, but it was worth it because it soon became easier for me to find the pieces that were needed for each step.

It became less time consuming when I already knew where certain blocks were located, however, the building process was still tedious. Building the lower half was easy to follow, but the moment I started with the upper part, especially the hair—yes, the hair!!! I became impatient. I made a lot of mistakes in the placement of some pieces, that's why I stopped more than a couple of times because I became too frustrated.

As my mistakes made the building process sloppy, I decided to just start assembling the head part all over again. I'm already halfway through when I got pissed, so there's that regret that I felt while detaching the assembled pieces.

But that regret was soon replaced with relief because it didn't look confusing when I detached them all. I spend another couple of hours assembling the head and hair. I once struggled to draw Kakashi's hair way back in my beginner years in drawing, but I overcame it with the help of constant practice. I thought Kakashi's hair wouldn't cause confusion to me anymore, but now that I'm building his lego hair, that confusion comes back again. Further, some pieces won't immediately be attached so I really struggled attaching them. But problems won't last forever and so when it's almost noon, I'm down to the last two steps.

Finally after seems like an eternity, I finished it! I'm so happy when I attached the head to its body because *ahuhuhu* it's done. I never thought that assembling lego pieces would be as challenging as this—or perhaps it's Kakashi's glorious hair that made it harder. Anyway, it's already done so I'm definitely relieved. It turned out so cute and since there were spare legos bricks left, I made some additional details to his shoes. I added the spare green pieces under the black ones, that's why it now looks like he had green soles—which I find totally cool!

It was taxing assembling him, so I would find another time that would be perfect for another patience and time-consuming lego building. There's still coming lego chibi that I'm going to build and it's still from Naruto, but for this week, that would be enough—*I guess*. So that's it!
