The race in the intelligent speaker industry enlivened by Google Home, Amazon Echo and Apple HomePod, will not be overtaken by Facebook. After scheduled to release intelligent speakers, it ran aground after last week's Facebook data leak scandal.
Based on reports Bloomberg, Facebook will release these intelligent speakers at the annual event Facebook Developer Conference or better known as Facebook F8. However, Facebook seems to feel that this is not the time to release the gadget, considering the so-called privacy disaster has cost more than 50 million Facebook users.
Facebook itself has a pretty good reputation about gadgets. Previously Mark Zuckerberg besutan company has ever released a headset VR Oculus Rift and Oculus Go both produced by Oculus who acquired Facebook 2014 ago.
The only gadget made by Facebook that may fail is HTC First, Android 2013 output of Taiwanese company HTC is filled with Facebook Home interface page.
Facebook itself still has not determined concrete steps about data leakage. Predicted by many experts mention that later Facebook and other social networking will get regulation from US Government about data privacy.
