In this publication, I will share my experience on Devault and why I have decided to invest in this blockchain. My favorite cryptocurrencies are Hive and DVT because both of them promote decentralization. Both chains allow fast and secure transactions with very low fees and also that stakeholders are passively rewarded.<center>

<center><h1>¿What is Devault?</h1></center>
<hr>

**Devault** is a decentralized blockchain that enables secure and fast person-to-person (p2p) transactions of DVT cryptocurrency. Also, it has a DAO proposal system focused on the growth of the project  [[1]]( https://github.com/devaultcrypto/devault).

On June 4th, 2020, Devault's first anniversary was celebrated, and I would like to emphasize that the experience I have had in this project has been very satisfying. Happy Anniversary Devaultians! I hope that many advances and successes will be achieved for the whole Devault community.<br>

**Cold rewards:** A minimum of 25,000 DVTs must be stored in a single transaction to receive cold rewards. Having a wallet address with the minimum required amount of DVTs qualifies you to receive the cold rewards every 30 days (each 21915 blocks), which are currently about 1% monthly.

Note that your DVT coins must be in your wallet, but it must be fulfilled that it is a single transaction. For example, you have 5 addresses where you received 5,000 DVTs in each. This way, you would NOT qualify to receive cold rewards. To do so, you have to do consolidation and put all the coins together in the same transaction.

DVTs that you received as rewards do not qualify for further cold rewards, nor do DVTs mined. By storing your crypto coins at an exchange such as https://www.southxchange.com/, which is the most liquid in the case of DVTs, the one receiving the rewards would be the exchange site. The most secure wallet is the personal one through the Devault application, either the Core or Light version.

**1 DVT  = 1 vote:** Each unit of DVT can be used to vote positively or negatively on proposals. It is crucial to upvote the proposals that will benefit Devault's growth. This decentralized voting system is anonymous, and those with the DVT cryptocurrency in their wallets decide whether to approve the proposal.

**DVT mining:** The DVT coin is a derivative of Bitcoin Cash (BCH), which uses an SHA-256 encryption algorithm to mine the DVT, so if you have a Bitcoin or BCH mining device, you can use it to mine DVT coins [[2]](https://www.devault.cc/DeVault-Economy-Whitepaper-1.1.pdf). In other words, DVT mining is based on the concept of proof of work in which hardware is required to create new DVTs.

In addition, community members actively promote Devault on Twitter, Hive, and Discord. Activities are aimed to be rewarded with DVTs, which go straight into participants' wallets. In my experience, creating a wallet on my computer or cell phone has been very simple and safe. The Devault wallet is available for various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and MAC, but it also has support for Android and Raspberry devices [[3]](https://devault.cc/wallets.html). In particular, I recommend the Devault wallet application for the computer because it has more features than the light version for the phone. One of the differences is that from the desktop application you can vote for the project proposals.

It is easy to get DVT coins on several exchanges, being the most of liquid DVT the Southxchange. What makes Southxchange different from other exchanges is that it does not ask you for a KYC (identity verification). Also, you can claim several *Faucets* every 3 hours. For Devault's anniversary, 500,000 DVTs are being distributed on the Southxchange *Faucet* where you can claim 25 DVTs per claim. At the time of this publication remains about 389,700 DVTs on the Faucet to be claimed by Southxchange users.

En esta publicación les compartiré mi experiencia en Devault y por qué he decidido invertir en esta cadena de bloques. Mis criptomonedas favoritas son el Hive y el DVT porque ambas promueven la descentralización. <center><h1>¿Qué es Devault?</h1></center>

**Devault** es una cadena de bloques descentralizada que permite las transacciones seguras y rápidas de la criptomoneda DVT de persona a persona (p2p) y además cuenta con un sistema de propuestas DAO enfocado en el crecimiento del proyecto [[1]](https://github.com/devaultcrypto/devault).

El 4 de Junio de 2020 se festejó el primer aniversario de Devault y me gustaría destacar que la experiencia que he tenido en este proyecto ha sido muy satisfactoria. ¡Feliz aniversario Devaultians! Espero que se logren muchos avances y éxitos para toda la comunidad Devault.

**Recompensas frías:** Para recibir ganancias por almacenar los DVT es necesario contar con un monto mínimo de 25,000 DVT en una sola transacción. Al tener una cartera con la cantidad mínima de DVT se califica para recibir las recompensas frías cada 30 días (cada 21,915 bloques), que actualmente son de alrededor de 1% mensualmente. 

Es importante señalar que las monedas no solo deben de estar en tu cartera, sino que se debe cumplir que sea una sola transacción. Por ejemplo, tienes 5 direcciones en donde recibiste 5,000 DVT en cada una. De esta forma NO calificarías para recibir las recompensas frías, para hacerlo tienes que hacer una consolidación y juntar todas las monedas en la misma transacción.

Los DVTs que recibiste como recompensas no califican para recibir más recompensas frías, así como tampoco los DVT que son minados. Al almacenar tus criptomonedas en alguna casa de cambio como https://www.southxchange.com/ que es la de mayor liquidez en el caso de DVT, entonces el que recibiría las recompensas sería la casa de cambio. El monedero más seguro es el personal a través de la aplicación Devault ya sea la versión Core o Light.

**1 DVT  = 1 voto:** Cada unidad de DVT nos sirve para votar positivamente o negativamente las propuestas. Es importante revisarlas para apoyar aquellas que beneficien el crecimiento de Devault. Este sistema de votación descentralizado es anónimo y los que cuentan con criptomonedas DVT en sus monederos deciden si se aprueba la propuesta.

**Minado de DVT:** La criptomoneda DVT es un derivado de Bitcoin Cash (BCH), el cual usa un algoritmo de encriptación SHA-256 para minar el DVT, por lo tanto, si cuentas con un dispositivo minero de Bitcoin o BCH te puede servir minar criptomonedas DVTs [[2]]( https://www.devault.cc/DeVault-Economy-Whitepaper-1.1.pdf). Es decir, el minado de DVT esta basado en el concepto de prueba de trabajo en el que se requiere de hardward para crear nuevos DVTs.

Además, miembros de la comunidad promueven activamente a Devault en Twitter, Hive y Discord. En donde, se realizan actividades que son recompensadas con DVTs, los cuales van directo a los monederos de los participantes. En mi experiencia, tanto abrir un monedero en mi computadora como en el celular ha sido de forma muy sencilla y segura. Ya que el monedero Devault está disponible para varios sistemas operativos como Windows, Linux y MAC, además cuenta con soporte para Android y Raspberry [[3]]( https://devault.cc/wallets.html). En lo personal, recomiendo la aplicación Devault para la computadora porque tiene más características que la versión light para celular. Una de las diferencias es que desde la aplicación de escritorio se puede votar por las propuestas del proyecto. 

Es fácil adquirir criptomonedas DVTs en varias casas de cambio, siendo el Southxchange el que de mayor liquidez de DVT. Lo que hace diferente a Southxchange de otras casas de cambio es que este no te solicita un KYC (verificación de identidad). Además, dentro de esta puedes encontrar varias *Faucets* que se reclaman cada 3 horas. Por el aniversario de Devault se están distribuyendo 500,000 DVTs en el *Faucet* de Southxchange en donde puedes reclamar 25 DVT cada 3 horas. Al momento de esta publicación quedan alrededor de 389,700 DVT en el Faucet aún por reclamar por los usuarios de Southxchange.
