They are easy to prepare and apart from colorful, they are very nutritious for their additional vitamin content. Briefly, the recipe for making green (spinach), purple (beet) and orange (carrot) arepa is shown.
### Ingredients
Cooked and grated beet
Grated carrot
Chopped spinach
Salt
Cornmeal
### Preparation
Blend the vegetable, that is, make the juice separately, be it carrot, spinach or beet.
Instead of water, add the juice with cornmeal and a touch of salt. Knead the mixture very well.
The dough should be easy to mold but not sticky. Make a ball with the dough and squash it into a circle. Place the crushed arepas in a frying pan or budare and cook them covered over medium-low heat, until they are toasted.

The arepas are detached from the pan alone when they are ready to turn.
According to the taste of each person, they can add the grated vegetables to the mix. It's optional.
