The backend infrastructure may not be visible, but the front-end features have kept my amused so far. We now have Hive signer login option which is step forward to only having Hive Keychain login. To be honest, I am having a ball in browsing alpha UI using Hive Keychain browser. As per the new rumor in town, we may see the wallet feature coming to alpha UI real soon. The leaked screenshots show sleek UI for the wallet page. Let's see how the final product will be when released. While we are enjoying newly released features and looking forward to the features that will come soon, I thought I would share the list of features that Leofinance users would appreciate. These features are already implemented by other Hive front ends. That means they may not be as complex to implement but excuse my ignorance. Basically, this is a list of features that I use in other hive front ends that I want to be copied into Leofinance. # Threads and comment counters This feature is already available on @peakd. The peakd interface provides us with analytics to show our engagement on Hive. It is super useful to see how many comments I make per day and how many replies I get. That way I do not need to go to a new page to see how I am doing on my Hive journey. Having a section on thread counts and number of comments and replies made on Leofinance blogging will also be helpful. I think other users are also like me who gloat on how many comments I made and replies I received :) # Social network and profile This is a feature that I used on @liketu. This is powerful if we implement it right. This shows users' social network on Liketu and their profile. It means this diagram allows me to see who I interact with the most and how my social network looks like on Liketu. https://images.hive.blog/DQmTSJ37Mrrir9L3wdVxwfFE8ZRSsNmX9dpzwJSFpE9CqbP/liketu-circle%20(1).png A similar social profile on Leofinance will provide networking diagram on who the users are mostly interacting with. This may not generate anything as such, but it is a cool feature to have on the profile page on alpha UI. I don't like the graphics @peakd uses for this feature where they have a pie chart of users commenting and voting on your posts. A graph without the raw data is more eye-pleasing. # An option to react to threads I know that we will have a rethreading option at some point in time. But I would like to have a react option on leothreads. This feature is already available on @liketu. The reaction to posts is independent of upvotes. We have many emojis that we can choose from. Users may have the option to react to a thread if they think they have a certain feeling towards it. I recognize thatβs a hurdle, but it is a nice feature to add to recognize the value of a thread or a post when users do not have significant upvotes to offer. We could tie up likes and love reactions to social profile ranking in the future. # Favorite Authors This is one feature that I think is super useful. @ecency and @peakd has perfected this feature where users can favorite Hive authors. Ecency notifies when your fav author publishes a post whereas peakd does not provide the notification. Peakd implements this feature differently where users can see who their fav authors are and allow them to browse on a page. I would like to see this feature on Leofinance.
