Saludos Hivers, feliz viernes para todos ustedes. Por fin he tomado nuevamente las riendas de mi blog, creo que aparte de la poesía de ayer tipo catarsis, tenía casi una semana sin publicar, todo esto debido a conflictos personales y pues bastante desanimado por el montón de malas noticias que se juntan una con la otra. 
>Greetings Hivers, happy Friday to all of you. I have finally taken the reins of my blog again, I think apart from yesterday's catharsis type poetry, I had almost a week without posting, all this due to personal conflicts and then quite discouraged by the pile of bad news that come together one with the other.

Sin embargo, acá estoy de regreso para hacer algo que me gusta agregar a mi día, actualizar a mis pocos lectores sobre alguna trama que haya visto y por supuesto compartir con vosotros mi apreciación del mismo. 
>However, here I am back to do something I like to add to my day, update my few readers on some plot I have seen and of course share with you my appreciation of it.

Ayer tuve la oportunidad de ver junto a mi pareja esta joya de película que si bien son solo hora y media de trama creo que es perfecta para lo que necesitaba yo ver personalmente. 
>Yesterday I had the opportunity to watch with my partner this gem of a movie that even though it's only an hour and a half of plot I think it's perfect for what I personally needed to see.

Cuando vi el trailer una de las cosas que me quedó en el pensar fue una frase alusiva en la transformación de nuestras debilidades, es decir, usar dichas debilidades a nuestro favor, bastante curioso la verdad y quería buscar esa respuesta viendo esta película. 
>When I saw the trailer one of the things that stuck in my mind was a phrase alluding to the transformation of our weaknesses, that is, to use these weaknesses to our advantage, quite curious and I wanted to look for that answer watching this movie.

A pesar de que en netflix está titulado en versión latina, supe que se trataba de una película con producción francesa lo cual me motivo mucho más porque creo nunca haber tenido la oportunidad de ver una trama de este país.

Lo primero que se deja ver es que se trata de gente de color, y por un momento pensé que iba a ser un cliché, en el sentido que la historia tendría algo que ver entre la guerra y polémica del racismo, pero la verdad es que en ningun momento senti que este punto lo tocaron y creo que es muy bueno, porque ayuda a quitarnos ese estigma sobre las películas de negros, que a mi parecer se que dan un buen mensaje pero que sus vidas no giran entorno solo a la lucha de sus derechos. 
>The first thing you can see is that it is about people of color, and for a moment I thought it was going to be a cliché, in the sense that the story would have something to do with the war and controversy of racism, but the truth is that at no time I felt that this point was touched and I think it is very good, because it helps to remove that stigma about black films, which in my opinion give a good message but their lives do not revolve only around the struggle for their rights.

La verdad es que hay varios puntos o tramas interesantes dentro de esta película. Lo primero que podemos ver es la disfunción familia. No se realmente si es válido en la cultura que tienen estas personas el hecho de que un hombre pueda tener dos o más esposas, pero si bien no se dice lo contrario, es algo que de una u otra forma incómoda a la primera esposa, por supuesto que a nadie le gustaría saber que su pareja esta con otra persona, mucho menos que tenga un hijo. 
>The truth is that there are several interesting points or plots within this film. The first thing we can see is the family dysfunction. I do not really know if it is valid in the culture that these people have the fact that a man can have two or more wives, but while not saying otherwise, it is something that in one way or another makes the first wife uncomfortable, of course no one would like to know that your partner is with someone else, much less have a child.

Pero creo que lo peor es el hecho de que tengan que vivir todos juntos. Me perdonan de verdad quienes tengan estas costumbres pero yo no las comparto. Y pues no es solo un pensar, en esta historia se deja ver claramente que lo que inicia mal termina mal también, empezando por las diferencias que tienen entre hermanos quienes en ningún momento muestran respeto o algo de cariño familiar uno por el otro, y pues estas son la mayoría de las veces lo que ocurre. 
>But I think the worst thing is the fact that they all have to live together. Forgive me for those who have these habits, but I do not share them. And it is not just a thought, in this story it is clear that what begins badly also ends badly, starting with the differences between siblings who at no time show respect or any family affection for each other, and these are most of the time what happens.

Esta familia vino con un sueño, de abrir un restaurante en un pequeño barrio donde viven otras personas de su misma cultura, podría decirse que al inicio  todo marchaba muy bien hasta el punto de que las personas agradecen mucho tener el primer restaurante en dicho barrio donde pudieran sentirse ellos mismos y degustar platos de su país natal. 
>This family came with a dream, to open a restaurant in a small neighborhood where other people of the same culture live, it could be said that at the beginning everything went very well to the point that people are very grateful to have the first restaurant in that neighborhood where they could feel themselves and taste dishes from their native country.

El problema empieza cuando por necesidad de cuidar a su gente, el hijo mayor de esta familia empieza a hacer cosas en contra de las creencias de su padre. Mientras por un lado está agradecido por tener la dicha de estar trabajando y viviendo en un lugar que originalmente no es de su cultura, por el otro lado está un joven rebelde afectado por las decisiones de su padre con respecto a su vida amorosa y familiar. 
>The problem begins when, out of necessity to take care of his people, the eldest son of this family starts to do things against his father's beliefs. While on the one hand he is grateful to have the joy of working and living in a place that is not originally from his culture, on the other hand he is a rebellious young man affected by his father's decisions regarding his love and family life.

EL origen de la rebeldía de este joven es sin duda la disfunción familiar causante de una segunda mujer embarazada, por supuesto que es un shock, y sobre todo por la imposición de su padre. Creo que no es un buen primer ejemplo a dar a su hijo sobre la familia. 
>The origin of this young man's rebelliousness is undoubtedly the family dysfunction causing a second pregnant wife, of course it is a shock, and above all because of his father's imposition. I think it is not a good first example to give his son about the family.

Todo va de mal en peor, hasta un punto en que el barrio se convierte en un escenario de guerra entre dos bandas que buscan tener el territorio para la venta de drogas y armas. 
>Everything goes from bad to worse, to a point where the neighborhood becomes a war scenario between two gangs that seek to have the territory for the sale of drugs and weapons.

Esto por supuesto complica mucho más la vida de esta familia pues el líder de una de las bandas es el hijo mayor.

Ahora bien, y que se me había pasado, el protagonista de esta trama queda ciego debido a un accidente, donde tuvo una contusión que le produjo la ceguera.

Lo interesante es que su padre le ayudó a ser valiente y ayudarle a vivir a pesar de su ceguera, de manera que pudiera defenderse. Pero más que eso le dio varias lecciones y entre muchas de ellas el hecho de que su ceguera no le iba a impedir hacer las cosas y ser un hombre de bien.

Sin embargo ocurre algo que le cambia la vida a este hombre ciego y decide poner fin a todo lo malo que estaba sucediendo en el barrio.

La parte que no me agrado fue el tema de la brujería, que me hizo pensar si realmente su ceguera era algo médico o si en realidad esta bruja había sido la causante. Sin embargo hay una parte donde se destaca que una persona ciega por causa de contusiones, puede volver a ver por alguna otra contusión, extraño, pero si. 
>The part I didn't like was the witchcraft theme, which made me wonder if his blindness was really something medical or if this witch was the cause. However, there is a part where it is pointed out that a person blinded by bruises can see again because of some other bruise, strange, but yes.

Fue esa misma ceguera la que protegió a este hombre de morir muchas veces, siendo víctima de su hermano mayor y también del enemigo del mismo, pero el descuido lo lleva a cometer actos que si bien no fueron planificados, personas inocentes salen heridas.

El final yo lo describo como "matar dos pájaros de un tiro" y la verdad es quede bastante satisfecho porque era lo que se tenía que hacer. Entre el rencor, la mala vida y el hecho de asesinar a sangre fría, a estas personas solo le quedan el mismo camino que construyeron, su propio final. 
>I describe the ending as "killing two birds with one stone" and the truth is that I was quite satisfied because it was what had to be done. Between the grudge, the bad life and the fact of murdering in cold blood, these people only have the same road left that they built, their own end.
