After 2 years away from #Splinterlands, I decided to give it another shot - and the changes are MASSIVE!!

I've only been back for a week, and the first thing that caught me off guard was that I couldn't join any battles because my old cards weren't available for gameplay. That's when I started exploring the site and digging into how the game works now. I'm still adjusting, but I wanted to share this with others who, like me, have recently returned!

I'm not sure yet if it's worth it as an investment, but I'm exploring further because I love the gameplay, the cards, and the community.

So let's get started—first, where are your old cards?
✅ They're still yours! You can rent them, sell them, or use them in ranked battles in "Survival" or "Wild" modes.
That's right—there are currently 3 ranked modes: Modern, Wild, and Survival.

### Survival Mode:
All your cards are allowed, but if they get defeated, they become unusable in any ranked mode, tournaments, battles, or land gameplay until they're revived—which takes 15 days.

### Wild Mode:
You need to buy access each season to play here, but you can use all your owned cards.

### Modern Mode:
Card usage is restricted—only Foundations/Core, Reward, Promo, or Expansion sets tied to the latest two editions ("Arcane Conclave" and "Rebellion") are allowed.

To get these cards, you’ll need to buy them from the marketplace or earn a starter set through the "Campaign" mode (for new players)

  After getting your starter cards, you begin at the base 'Wood' tier until you reach 'Bronze III'. Every battle win earns you SPS (the game's currency) and Glint. With this new Glint currency, you can buy new cards to power up your deck - the more Glint you have, the rarer cards you can unlock!

Depois de 2 anos longe do #Splinterlands resolvi dar mais uma chance - e as mudanças foram ENORMES!!

Faz apenas uma semana que retornei e a primeira coisa que me chamou atenção foi, que não consegui entrar em nenhuma batalha pois as cartas que eu tinha não estavam disponíveis para o jogo, foi quando comecei a explorar o site e descobrir mais sobre como estava o jogo atualmente. Estou me adaptando ainda, mas venho compartilhar com quem, como eu, retornou recentemente! 

Ainda não sei se vale a pena como investimento, mas estou explorando mais porque gosto da jogabilidade, das cartas e da comunidade. 

Então vamos começar, primeiro onde estão as suas cartas antigas? 
Continua sendo suas e você pode alugá-las ou vendê-las;
Ou usar nas partidas ranqueadas no modo “SURVIVAL” e no modo “WILD”. Isso, existem 3 modos do jogos na rankeada “MODERN”, “WILD” e “SURVIVAL”.

### SURVIVAL: 

Todas as cartas que você possui são permitidas nesse modo, mas quando suas cartas são derrotadas, elas nao podem ser usadas em nenhum modo das ranqueadas, torneios, batalhas, terrenos, em nenhum lugar até que sejam revividas, que demora 15 dias para acontecer.

### WILD: 

Onde você precisa comprar um acesso a cada temporada para poder jogar nesse modo, podendo utilizar todas as cartas que você possui.

### MODERN: 

São limitados os usos das cartas, sendo possível usar apenas os conjuntos Foundations ou Core, Reward, Promo ou Expansion ligadas aos últimos dois conjuntos: “Conclave Arcana” e “Rebellion”. 

Para obter essas cartas apenas no marketplace ou ganhando um conjunto básico no modo “campanha” para quem está começando.

  Após conseguir as cartas iniciais você começa no nível inicial ‘Wood’ até conseguir chegar no ‘Bronze III’ e sempre que vencer uma batalha você acumula SPS (moeda do jogo) e Glint. Com essa nova moeda Glint você consegue comprar novas cartas para aumentar o poder do seu pacote de cartas, quanto mais Glint mais raro as cartas que você pode conseguir!
