Steemit Milestone Achieved: About to get paid for something I created!

I can't believe that I am literally moments away from actually getting paid for something I have written on Steemit. Now I am not going to quit my day job by any means but I have to tell you that it feels awesome.   It has definitely put a pep in my step this morning and I am already working on my next  post.  It feels just like the day I got my first paycheck many years ago for watering lawns in the town house complex where I grew up.   I have earned a few rewards (a few cents) for the curation and comments I made last week (that was paid yesterday in Steem Power) but today I get to earn actual Steem dollars for something I created.  Now I know it is not anywhere near the payouts that @craig-grant reported this morning but this minnow is learning to swim and it won't be long.

I am very thankful to the Steemit Community and specifically the  @minnowsupport  community for all the support.
