I find myself in my head and just happy with silence a lot of times too.  My wife and I drive in to work together pretty much every day and sometimes I feel bad that I am so quiet.  My mind is a million different places some days on the drive to or from work and I honestly don't think she could keep up even if I tried to explain it all.  So I just stay quiet.  We talk about other stuff though.

Hmmm, *partially.* There are still these inner conflicts around the relationship with music and various kinks to be worked out in the deconditioning process. And it’s been pretty challenging observing the absolute insanity the collective is in lately. Though in spite of all that, one foot keeps moving further into that *Peace*.

I love the gardening metaphor, and have often used it myself. Often expanding to the example of it being important not to pull out too much before harvest - that left to mature, the harvest may provide enough to eat for life, so not so wise to pick more than needed along the way as it’s be robbing from that future abundance.

The “fun & feeling right” part is especially cool.

And hey, I can’t take full credit as it was *you* that acted on it! Not everyone did. (And I gotta confess, it’s a bit fun to say “I told you so” to those who didn’t. Lol.)

Fantastic writing and emotional interpretation. 
Worry of you're unhappy, that's a call to action , contentedness is a great place to be.
I think we do cling onto old dreams and ideals, especially when they they've been with us so long and we don't have any replacements, but there should be no guilt for enjoying tranquility.
You said that financially you are in a great place. Enjoy that , do what you want, when you want and don't overthink.
