I wrote about L Brands four months ago, thought it was a short than and still do.

But Zacks.com thinks L Brands is a good value trade:

Zacks.com couldn’t be more wrong about L Brands. 

L Brands (LB) reported third-quarter results earlier in the week. Though the company managed to beat the consensus estimates, L Brands (LB) reported third-quarter results earlier in the week. Though the company managed to beat the consensus estimates, L Brands’ flagship business, Victoria’s Secret, remains in trouble. Total Victoria’s Secret sales decreased 0.7% to $1.53 billion. 

So what L Brands is reviving their Victoria’s Secret swim business, less than three years after the company said it would exit that “non-core” category.

They think this will bring in seasonal shoppers, increasing traffic, but there was a reason why they got out of the business in the first place…try a hell of a lot more competition.

I shorted L Brands back in 2016 and was waiting to short it again if price pulled back to the $41 level, but it sold off after earnings.

Thus, no trade set-up at the moment, if price fills the gap, I will look for a trade set-up at that time.  Nevertheless, the monthly chart suggest price is going down to the $23 level.
