Стрілок по Стівену Кінгу це книга яка насправді може перевернути світогляж будь-якої людини. Книга є першою частиною величезнох, та мабуть найважливішої для американського "короля жахів" саги, яку він без перебільшень писав майже протягом усього життя, що називаеється "Темна Вежа"

Саме цю цитату Стівен Кінг написав ще в далекому 1970 році й закинув початок свого першого твору з саги. Книга "Стрілок" була видана в 1984 році. Саме з цієї цитати вона й розпочинається.

Головний герой - стрілок Роланд, він є одим з останніх лицарів паралельного світу, що "здвинувся з місця" і почав гинути. Він один з небагатьох, хто вміе поводитися зі зброєю і несе спогади колись цвітучого світу, з традиціями, вечірками, технологіями та загадками. Але в один момент щось пішло не так, і світ навколо почав змінюватись, вимирати, ставати "іншим". Роланд не може залишити все як є, і володіючи деревніми знаннями він йде по свому "КА" - шляху до таємничої Темної Вежі, бо саме піднявшись на її останній поверх можна запобігти руйнації його світу, і вірить в те, що саме людина в Чорному може його вивести до цілі!

Цікаво, що світ Роланда пересікається з нашим світом. Є місця в яких кордони майже стерті, і в наш світ можна потрапити через звичайні двері, що знаходяться на пляжі (спойлер до другої книги). Отже на шляху до "Темної Вежі" на головного героя Роланда з Гілеаду чекають найнесподіваніші пригоди, подорожі між світами в наш час, а також спогади древнього часу, магія, технологіі, та астральна філософія, завдяки якій читач зможе переглянути своє відношення до життя та смерті.

Фільм "Темна Вежа" фанатами книги було сприйняте як жарт, бо нічого спільного з основним сюжетом саги воно не має) Майже не має.

Американський відомий режисер Дж.Дж. Абрамс будучи величезним фанатом Стівена Кінга отримав пропозицію на екранізацію "Темної Вежі" (це було би епічно!) але відмовився мотивуючи це тим, що він боїться зіпсувати враження від саги)

## Цікавий факт 3

Одним з кандидатом на роль Роланда в різні роки був Клінт Іствуд та Метью Макконахі. В фільмі "Темна Вежа" Макконахі зіграв опонента Роланда.

"The Gunslinger" by Stephen King is a book that can actually turn anyone's worldview. The book is the first part of a huge, and perhaps most important for the American "horror king" saga, which he wrote without exaggeration almost throughout his life, called "The Dark Tower"

     A man in black tried to hide in the desert, and the shooter chased him

This quote Stephen King wrote back in 1970 and abandoned the beginning of his first work from the saga. "The Gunslinger" was published years after in 1984. 

The main character - the shooter Roland, he is one of the last knights of the parallel world, who "moved" and began to die. He is one of the few who knows how to handle weapons and carries memories of a once prosperous world, with traditions, parties, technology, and mysteries. But at one point something went wrong, and the world around him began to change, to die out, to become "different." Roland can not leave everything as it is, and with the knowledge of wood, he goes on his "KA" - the path to the mysterious Dark Tower, because it is climbing to its top floor can prevent the destruction of his world, and believes that it is a man in Black can bring it to the goal!

Interestingly, Roland's world intersects with ours. There are places where the borders are almost erased, and you can enter our world through the usual doors on the beach (spoiler for the second book). So on the way to the Dark Tower, the main character Roland from Gilead faces the most unexpected adventures, travels between worlds in our time, as well as memories of ancient times, magic, technology, and astral philosophy, through which the reader can reconsider his attitude to life and death.

## Interesting fact 1

The film "Dark Tower" was perceived by fans of the book as a joke, because it has nothing to do with the main plot of the saga) almost nothing.

Famous American director J.J. Abrams is a huge fan of Stephen King, received an offer to film "The Dark Tower TV series" (it would be epic!) But refused, citing the fact that he is afraid to spoil the impression of the saga)
