Babies are the gift from God and not just a normal gift but a special and rare gift, the most valuable thing in this world. They bring smiles and happiness in the family. Their presence makes everything bright. But there is a lot of responsibility as well on the ones blessed with babies, along with love and affection, they need to do a good care and upbringing of the babies and in my opinion, it all starts from the first day. Whatever you say, whatever you do, babies observe and notice each and every single bit of it and try to repeat the same.

We always like and love what our kids do and sometimes ignore those things and enjoy silliness or naughtiness of our kids. I really love babies. I am so attached with my nephews and niece, they are just like my own kids. When my eldest bro was blessed with his first baby boy, we were not there with him in Sweden but we celebrated and shared the happiness with others. My Mother and me used to have video chat with my bro’s family like 24/7. It never felt that we are too far from each other.
So, I do remember that there was nothing we missed from the childhood days of @saif-ul-wahab. We used to see them through Yahoo video chat, @nazneen-ansari trying hard to make Saif crawl and walk. The most happiest person to see all that was my Mother. First, Saif used to walk through the baby walker then, one day he tried to balance and took couple of steps by himself and then fell down. Ouch. My bro screamed and called my Mother, he took his first steps on his own wow, that moment was very special. I didn’t witnessed it by myself but was told later on. First step of babies are always special, it is not that easy, it has a lot of work behind the scenes, changing crawling into walking. Need special care so baby won’t get hurt or harm themselves.

First time, I experienced this personally when I was in Sweden and @ilma-ansari was just ten months old, she used to crawl at that time. Then, day by day, she starts holding chair to stand. Wow, we used to clap and appreciate her so to motivate her to walk soon. I used to spend a lot of time with her, holding her hands and trying to make her stand. Playing with babies, trying to teach them, it is lots of fun. I still remember those joyful moments. We need to keep an eye on her so she wont get hurt by falling down.

My parents also joined us in Sweden and it was then the first time she took few steps without any support. It was great to watch her balancing with her hands and keeping her steps smoothly and firmly as not get fall down again and she succeeded in her task wow. It was the time to make PAON PORE, that’s the sweet dish name which is made when baby take her/his first steps. I don’t remember if that was made or not but the whole house was shouting with happiness.

I had so many experience, with my nephews, niece and then the turn came for my kids. Recently, my second son is learning to walk and the moment he stand by himself is applauds by my Mother. These were one of the best memorable moments of my life.
