We all are still celebrating and talking about New Year, why not, we are still in the first week of 2023. Everyone of us have different likings and meaning of important things in our life. I always give importance and priority to my family. After all, family comes first. I do have many friends circle, childhood friends, office friends but they all come after my family. So, if I want to have my first day of New Year, it should definitely start with my family.

This year, I had a kind of perfect first day of New Year, had an outing with family. It could be super perfect if my other two brothers with their families could have joined us. So, if I have the power to design my perfect first day of New Year, I want my whole family together to have an outing plan. My parents along with my three elder brothers and their families join me in a road trip out of the city to some beach side villa, where we could spend half of our day together playing different games like cricket, football or table tennis. Even we all do know how to play cards and I miss those days when we used to play cards altogether. My prefect start of the year should be with my family reminding me of those old golden days when we used to have fun together.

We all are married now and have kids, new generation, to whom we should show how we used to live together in childhood days. I love long drives so it would be perfect to choose a faraway beach villa. Kids would take camel rides, horse rides and I would love to ride a quad bike on sea shores. My eldest bro is fond of fishing so, we could hire a boat, a good one which could take us in the middle of the ocean. Lunch on the boat would be perfect with fresh fish caught by my eldest bro. It would be great to relax on the boat for some time and enjoy the pleasant and fresh air.

Then we would have a dance party for little ones, music at the beach side would be a wonderful add on. We will play musical chairs which is not much played now. I am sure kids will love it. The bedrooms should have perfect and comfortable bedding so, we can have a nice rest in there specially my parents. I never want them to get tired so rest is very important, also for kids.

Next would be hi-tea program, it gives such a nice feeling in imagining and creating this story in my mind. What a perfect first day it would be where we all family members along with our kids sitting at seaside and having cup of tea or coffee with some snacks. No other people, just us at our private seaside area. Before it gets dark, we will head back to our city.

I would prefer to have Chinese cuisine for dinner. Outdoor dinner at some good restaurant will be perfect way to end the day. After dinner, if I don’t feel tired then I will definitely make a plan to watch last show of any new movie at cinema with my friends. Late night sitting with friends is mandatory to end the day with more fun. This is how I like and want my first day of New Year to be………
