The Hand Of God During A Niigata, Japan Sunset

Yesterday was the final day of our gem and mineral show. Great show which I will talk about in another post, but for this post I wanted to show you some incredible sunset photos I caught while walking around.

The first one is what I can only describe as the 'Hand of God". It was pretty incredible to see in person. I kept thinking to myself, is god trying to tell me something? Maybe it was just a high 5 for getting through the event after several nights of drinking with friends. Most likely it was just my brain superimposing something on a random pattern in the sky.

The next two were just a few hundred meters down the road. It was such a beautiful sunset. I am super bummed I didn't have my cannon with me to properly capture the moment though.

I now think the the angle in the last picture might have been better a bit further past that location. More of the river being the center. Oh well. Lesson learned, take a more photos from various locations and angles when you find something good!

Off to the beach! It's a beautiful day here in Niigata. Partly cloudy with some sun, cool, mid 70s, low humidity. Can't ask for better weather in Japan.

Yes! It's very interesting as it has elements of Tokyo, Benten area, while also having the large spaces we have in the West, big streets, beaches, etc. You used to live there right?

I wish I could have made it over to Sado shima. 

I was lucky it cleared up and was warm with a light breeze. Perfect weather so I walked over the bridge and went to the beach. Definitely looking forward to go back up there for the next show.
