It is always difficult to fight against **Poison** and **Thorns**, because they are two very powerful abilities that allow monsters to be destroyed much faster. Especially fighting against a very powerful summoner like **Waka Spiritblade** is not easy because **Waka Spiritblade** gives **the Poison Ability** to all friendly monsters. I would love to have the Waka Spiritblade card, but unfortunately I don't have it. Only level 4 Waka Spiritblade cards are sold on the market, with sell orders starting at $398. Also no one wants to sell the Gold Foil Waka Spiritblade. If I had the opportunity, I would buy this card without hesitation, I hope I will save money and buy it in the future.
- **Poison Ability** : Attacks have a chance to apply poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied.
- **Thorns Ability** : When hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.

**My Strategy**
Before starting the battle, when I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player, I saw that they had very powerful cards for my deck, so I knew this battle would be quite tough. I guessed that the opposing player would prefer Waka Spiritblade Summoner, also in such a battle if I had this card, I would prefer Waka Spiritblade too. I think the only way to win this battle was to win the battle in the shortest possible round, in other words, the battle was not supposed to last long, if the longer the battle lasted, the more likely I was to lose the battle. I determined my strategy accordingly. In order to win this battle, my team needed to be faster and attack the targets more powerfully, so I formed my team accordingly.
The most suitable summoner for my team to be faster was Kelya Frendul because Kelya Frendul gives +1 speed and +1 armor with all friendly monsters. Also, +1 armor would be very useful for my team in this battle. And I added monsters with powerful attacks to my team. I also needed the Inspire Ability to make them attack more powerdul so I added River Hellondale with the Inspire Ability to the team. I believed that this way I had a better chance of winning this battle.

**Battle Comments**
**Round 1**

The opposing player preferred Waka Spiritblade as I guessed, and the opposing team had Monsters with Thorns Ability in the first two positions and both had the Heal Ability. Frankly, the opponent's strategy was very good.
In the first round, the monsters on my team attacked the targets very powerfully and destroyed two monsters on the opposing team. Although no monsters from my team could be destroyed, 3 monsters were poisoned.
**Round 2**
Legionnaire Alvar, Djinn Oshannus, and River Hellondale, who were poisoned in the first round, had their health reduced by -2 at the start of the second round. The poisoning of River Hellondale in particular has never been good. In particular, I didn't like the poisoning of River Hellondale as it would have ruined my strategy. In the second round, my team's attacks were also effective, but Legionnaire Alvar's double damage to Cornealus was admirable. Legionnaire Alvar's attack had relieved the sorrow of the destruction of the River Hellondale. Since River Hellondale was poisoned in the first round, it was easily destroyed in the second round, and Isgald Vorst was also poisoned. But another monster from the opposing team was destroyed.
**Round 3**
Being poisoned is really frustrating because at the start of each round, I was seeing poisoned monsters reduced their health by -2. I was relieved that Cornealus and Lira the Dark were destroyed in the third round. And only Raa remained in the opposing team. Also, Deeplurker was the only one left in my team that wasn't poisoned.
**Round 4**
It wasn't hard to destroy Raa in the fourth round, but if the battle had lasted a little longer, I might not have won this battle.
Although the battle was 47 mana, it only lasted 4 rounds and my team managed to win this very tough battle. I wouldn't be able to win this battle if my team hadn't been faster and attacking stronger in this battle so I think my strategy works pretty well in this battle because it's hard to fight and win against a level 3 Waka Spiritblade.

**Conclusion :**
The opposing team was very strong but all the monsters in my team had +1 speed and +1 armor which worked quite well, also attacking the targets more powerful and destroying them quickly allowed the team to win. By the way, if I used Monsters with Thorns Ability on my team, I would definitely add at least one Monster with the Amplify Ability to my team, so I'm glad there isn't a Monster with the Amplify Ability on the opposing team. When combined with Thorns Ability and Amplify Ability, they are very effective against Melee Attack Monsters.
- **Amplify Ability** : Increases Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage to all enemy monsters by 1.
