**Monsters with the Snipe Ability** target the first enemy Unit with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that is not in the first position. I think the easiest way to defeat them is to trap them with the **Martyr Ability**. When a **Monster with the Martyr Ability** dies, adjacent Units get +1 to all stats. That's why I aim to destroy the enemies with them by putting melee monsters that will be most effective in that battle according to their mana cost next to Monsters with Martyr Ability. This is a strategy that works very well against monsters with Snipe Ability. Meanwhile, Melee Attack Monsters cannot be targeted by Monsters with Snipe Ability when they are in the backline, so it is important to use Melee Attack Monsters adjacent to the Martyr Ability in this strategy.

- **Snipe Ability** : Targets the first enemy Unit with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that is not in the first position.
- **Martyr Ability** : When this Unit dies, adjacent Units get +1 to all stats.

Let's examine this in 3 battles.

### BATTLE 1

**Battle Ruleset**

- **Target Practice**: All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability.
- **Briar Patch**: All Monsters have the Thorns ability.

**Thorns Ability** : When hit with a Melee attack, does 2 Melee damage back to the attacker.

**Battle Ruleset**

- **Equalizer**: The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health.
- **Target Practice**: All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability.

- **Equalizer**: The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health.
- **Target Practice Ruleset**: All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability.
- **Stampede**: The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.

The above 3 battles also had the **Target Practice Ruleset**, meaning that all monsters in the battles would have the **Snipe Ability**. My strategy against monsters with Snipe Ability in the 3 battles was similar, so I won't go through each one individually. My strategy in all 3 battles was for enemies with Snipe Ability to target monsters with Martyr Ability and destroy them, thereby increasing the stats of monsters adjacent to monsters with Martyr Ability. I can say that this strategy works very well in almost all of these types of battles, so I can say that I like the Target Practice Ruleset. I recommend you watch all 3 battles from the battle links and you can see how my strategy works.

By the way, I would like to point out that this strategy will not work well if the opposing player does not choose Magic Attack Monsters or Ranged Attack Monsters, because Melee Attack Monsters ignore the Snipe Ability.
