<div class="text-justify">The human being, in his impetus to obtain knowledge, is always in constant dilemma with respect to the environment that surrounds him, the effects that are produced and the origin of things, that is where the great question that has served as a mother for many of the discoveries that today facilitate our daily life, "Why?" This question that makes us each a free and automaton is the great difference between conviction and tendency because as human beings we all have the freedom to doubt about what we read, hear and in some cases we see.</div>

#

<div class="text-justify">"If I do not know something, I will investigate it." They were wise words quoted by Louis Pasteur, that French chemist and bacteriologist to whom we owe the technique of pasteurization. Well, that's what it's about, to investigate what we do not know, what catches our attention, what we use or see every day but that we simply do not understand; that is the pillar of science, that science that attracts many and turns the nights into insomnia trying to understand it.</div>

#

<div class="text-justify">On this occasion I have written a series of questions that surely many have been asked but few know or understand the answer; without imagining that this is a simple solution ... let's start:</div>

### Why can flies fly freely and easily inside a vehicle while driving?

<center>![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmS4cP1AzFp49i75QbaJRSy9tLjZGYCutYPFhyNwECpyXm/image.png)</center>
<center>[Source](https://pixabay.com/es/housefly-mosca-dom%C3%A9stica-mosca-155460/)</center>

<div class="text-justify">When driving a vehicle, due to the position of the doors and glass blocks or hinders the flow of air that it contains inside; and is created a kind of system known in fluid mechanics as "Volume Control", ie, everything that is immersed in this volume control (air mass) will move evenly. The flies that fly inside the vehicle are dragged by this mass of air as it accelerates or decelerates the same, that is why although you accelerate up to 100 mph you will not be able to make them hit inside the vehicle.</div>

### How does a plane fly?

<center>![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmURz4SJuATEeEbBbsv9PosvDZskhbDf5PU8Atiyurgko4/image.png)</center>
<center>[Source](http://www.tindon.org/adaja/2005eduardovegas/ibanez.html)</center>

<div class="text-justify">There is a principle in fluid dynamics called the Bernoulli principle, which basically supports that at a lower speed, greater pressure. The wings of the airplanes are placed in such a way that when the air passes through them in the lower part this brakes or obstructs a little while in the upper part the air will flow freely and at great speed; which means that if we use the bernoulli logic, in the lower part of the wing as there is air stagnation there is a lot of pressure created by the same air which pushes upwards; while in the upper part as the air moves at high speed, the pressure is almost nil and therefore the airplane can stay in flight. This would be the opposite of the ailerons used in Formula 1 vehicles, which are placed inverted to the wing of the aircraft wing to keep the racing car stuck to the ground when traveling at high speed.</div>

<center>[Source](http://www.mpoweruk.com/flight_theory.htm)</center>

### Is glass a solid or a liquid?

<center>![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmSMz1HhpaetRujurWctMm4MCbD8yRBzD6zmRzbXtFcWmU/image.png)</center>
<center>[Source](https://www.caracteristicas.co/vidrio/)</center>

<div class="text-justify">Glass, due to its internal structure has always created some controversy due to its state as matter. This is simply considered as a sub-cooled liquid, which means that its internal atoms are always moving but very slowly, that is why if we look at a window that has many years in a position we can observe, if we detail very well , a very slight curvature in the center that is created by the same constant movement in its internal structure and the weight of the glass in that position.</div>

### Why is the steering wheel on the right in some countries?

<center>![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmWLRMhtnabpETKVmxJZPmTZhofeYSWHX5nUZ47BuqRKFi/image.png)</center>
<center>[Source](http://www.elgranporque.com/por-que-en-europa-se-conduce-del-lado-derecho/)</center>

<div class="text-justify">Currently 34% of the world people drives with the steering wheel to the right while the other 66% does with the steering wheel to the left, countries like the United Kingdom, Australia, India and Japan drive with the steering wheel to the right, but you know why?. It all starts with the Romans, who used to circulate on the left side of the road to salute or defend with their right hand, so if they were victims of an attack they could draw their sword quickly; this taking into account that most people are right-handed.</div>

<center>![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmSgzabqahkygU2JRVXuQcucLkAMxb3dC2UqCRL6tYnVrY/image.png)
[Source](http://ejercitodeflandes.blogspot.com/2013/09/paves-empavesado.html)</center>

<div class="text-justify">The change came to the XVIII century in the United States where the carriages had no chair for the driver and he was forced to sit on the last horse on the left leaving the right hand free to whip the horses or slaves. Most vehicle manufacturers preferred to leave the steering wheel on the left side taking into account that the driver would be more careful with traffic coming in the opposite direction. However, in a large part of the world there was no agreement and they decided to leave the steering wheel on the right side.</div>

### Why do you feel that you fall or wake up abruptly while you are sleeping?

<center>![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmRp7yjX1Yjmfy9m6yy9LtEBqmpHJqyGMDkPznit6coDdU/image.png)
[Source](http://metragueundiente.blogspot.com/2013/01/y-de-repente.html)</center>

<div class="text-justify">Have you ever been asleep and suddenly you feel that you fall which makes you wake up? Or at least you've seen someone do it? This has a logical explanation and is that when we are very tired and about to sleep the body slows down the use of motor functions so quickly that the brain receives an erroneous signal that you are dying which makes it send an impulse to the whole body to revive it and that's when you get that push from your brain that tells you "hey wake up, we can not die today".</div>
