My journey in the hive learners community has been an interesting one. I got to know about hl just a few months ago; when I was still lurking around trying to choose the right community for me. I must say I made the best decision by joining the hl community. A community that helps bloggers grow in all aspects. 

Ever since getting verified I’ve participated in their weekly prompts. I for one have benefitted from those writing prompts massively, this is because they help me with topics to write about whenever I am out of ideas. At times some of the topics are difficult to write but most of the time they are friendly and user-friendly. Most of the topics demand that you use your personal experience and write about them. 

The hl community is where am active most so it wouldn’t surprise me that I have a lot of posts here. All though it might not be able to match up to that of a lot of users, I still think it’s okay. 

Well, I’ve had a lot of personal best. Some of the topics have demanded a lot from bloggers and most of the time people do give their very best to the topics especially if it’s an interesting one. I’ve had my best, even though they are well over 5 posts I will look to pick the best 5.

This was a post that I wanted to write but didn’t know where and when to write it. The pictures you see were taken when we went for the Christmas holidays in Accra. We had a great time and I was looking for a perfect time to blog about it and then hl contest came along. They wanted to hear from users how they spent their new years eve. 

Fortunately, we went to see the city lights the previous day. I was happy I didn’t post those pictures in any other community. 

The post features me with my brother and cousins roaming around the city looking for the best Christmas decorations to take pictures with. We finally got a very nice place and we made good use of it.

People who read my post might have guessed right, I trade crypto. In fact, I think I wanted to be more than a trader and that’s what am trying to achieve every day. 

This post was a post about my crypto journey. It was a contest that demanded that we talk about a situation in which we were lucky. Well, I’ve had quite some luck with crypto and so each time this kind of topic pops up, I can’t help but talk about how lucky I was with a leverage position. 

The funny thing about this position of mine is that I was about to lose it all again even though I made profits that day. I like this post a lot too cause I was able to tell users what it feels like to trade.

This post seems dear to my heart. But one may ask, why is it not your first choice then? To be sincere I don’t know. I don’t think it’s the best out of the 5 so let’s leave it there. 

I love kids I can’t wait to have my own children. So with that I couldn’t hold myself but try to talk about what being a parent will be like for me in this hl contest that was posted a few weeks ago. 

With this one, I described how I envision tearing my kids. How do I think my kids with behave towards me even though I will be an African parent? The norm is that most African dads are feared by their kids. All though I crave for respect from my kids, I wouldn’t want them running to their peers for advice when I am available and ever ready to help. This post features all that I think about parenthood. It’s a good read.

In this post, I narrate a bitter experience. This was something that happened between my friends and people of authority back in the shs days. This post required that we write about an experience of abuse of power by people in authority. This is a topic that needs to be discussed so I saw this as a great opportunity to talk about what happened to my friends because of something that they did. 

What the people in authority did to them was uncalled for, even though nothing could be done about the situation, it was still very bad and I think it shouldn’t happen to anyone.

This post holds a special place in my heart. As I was writing this post I could remember all the good times that I had with my very first best friend back at JHS. It is said that two like poles repel but in our situation we made it work perfectly. We were the same but we had quarreled. A friendship which has lasted for many years required a special topic about it and hl gave me the perfect place to talk about it. Now I and my friend are not that free but are sure we will still have the same vibe even if we see each other in the next 20 years. 


Well, that’s it about my top 5 posts in the hl community. I had fun picking my top 5 even though some of them are biased, but who cares, they are mine and I do as I will hehe. 

Happy first anniversary to the hive learners community. It’s been great being a member of this great community.
