Finding Joy in the Little Things

Good day, my dear Hivers! 🌺 I’m @rufajane, and I want to take a minute to tell you about something that is very personal to me. This past Saturday, I did religious ministry all day—walking, talking, and engaging with people. But in addition to conversations and prayers, it was also a day of beauty. 🙃 Sometimes the littlest gestures make the biggest memories, and for me, it was the flowers and a small, sweet moment that caught on camera.

***A Fantastic Time to Start My Day***

Our ministry started at 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. I woke up early as usual and prayed before I got up. I took a deep breath and then took a bath.

With that, I set out together with my family. The streets were calm and flowers bloomed everywhere, as if nature itself was quietly watching over us. There was something about that morning that felt different—not rushed, not chaotic, just… peaceful.👌

Honestly, I was always captivated by nature whenever I see them. It was as if they were someone I could trust. They are beautiful and fascinating reminding me of the simple joy I may find around me. I kept catching glimpses of them. I don't know why, but that day, my eyes were just focused on the flowers. 😄 Maybe because they reminded me of faith - strong and resilient even when unnoticed. Or maybe they just made me happy. 😊

**Why Do The Nature Makes Me Happy?**

There's a reason. They made me feel special, appreciated, and valued. And by just looking at them, teaches me to value small happiness in life because small things are also a thing. They bloom, they fade the next moment, and in that cycle, they teach me to embrace the present moment.

**Why Do I Love The Nature?**

Because their love for us is unconditional. They made me happy without expecting anything in return. They will never complain or hate people. And that's what I love about them. They're not just nature to me, they are a lesson that even on the hardest and saddest day, I should choose to be someone else's source of happiness.

Above all, I love them because they speak to something within me. They show me that even in the most unexpected places, beauty can bloom. And in a way that mirrors life itself.

I picked one up without thinking, placed it in my hair, and snapped a picture. Some of the pictures were meant to be stolen shots, but I just laughed and wasn't sure how to pose after I accidentally caught my sister snapping a picture of me (without my permission 😂).

**REFLECTIONS**

Life can be harsh at times, but like the plants, I must learn to be more resilient and adaptive. I don't have to worry about what will happen in the future because I am in control of it. Surrounding myself with nature made me feel like I was my own queen since only nature can make me one. From now on, I should learn to value the present because, in the end, it is the present that makes the future joyful.

Flowers, much like faith, teach me something valuable: to bloom where we are planted, to bring joy even in small ways, and to remind others that beauty exists even in life's simplest moments.
