I've seen this topic comming up again and again on Reddit, my Youtube comments, and Bitcoin forums and message boards.

So on Coinbase there's an option to setup a recurring transaction. What this is, it's when you decide to for example have Coinbase automatically buy $100 worth of Ethereum every Monday so your not having to manually go in and do it every week.

Why this is important, for those of you who like Dollar cost averaging, ie making regular transactions so your in at every price point as opposed to making one giant transaction and maybe buying in at a higher price.

Anyhow, there's a bit of a glitch on Coinbase where you can create a new recurring transaction for Bitcoin, but not for Litecoin or Ethereum.

I've seen a lot of people struggling trying to figure this out so figured I'd make a quick video. 

In this video I'm going to show you guys how to setup a recurring transaction on Coinbase for either Ethereum or Litecoin. The process involves making a regular buy which will allow you to buy Ethereum or Litecoin, and then clicking the tab to select a recurring transaction. After you click the tab for recurring tranasction you'll select whether you want the transaction to recur daily, weekly, biweekly or monthly. Once you make the buy your recurring transactions will begin to happen every day, week or month depending upon what you selected.
