So two hours ago, I walk right by the beginning of a verbal altercation between a drunk man and his wife, then a physical altercation between two bouncers and the drunk man.  

It's amazing how proud drunkness makes a man.  This drunk man was with a group of 5 people and he couldn't accept the fact that he was asked to leave the bar.   

The biggest altercation was between the frantic wife and the belligerent husband.  She was begging for her husband to get in the cab that was waiting.  The head bouncer was telling the drunk man to listen to his wife, and the drunk was wanting a piece of the short muscled bouncer.  

I just know something is going to happen, so I walk far enough away that I have a clear view, but am so far away that none will notice the lone spectator.

Within a minute, the wife was yelling frantically to her husband and pulling on him to get in the cab and he is talking crap to the bouncers.  Wife gets more aggressive with her pulling and he is pushing her off and telling her to back off.  Within thirty seconds, he pushes his wife to the ground.  She is dressed in her church best and wearing four inch heels.  She falls in the gutter full of contaminated water from 5 restuarants and one bar.  She is crying and obviously hurt from the hard blow.  She finally gets back up on her feet, and continues to beg her husband to get in the cab, and he continues to threaten the bouncer.  
The taller bouncer finally lets his anger get the best of him, and he runs up on the drunk, and hits him into the dumpster enclosure.   The drunk man is down on the ground against the enclosure and as he tries to get up, and the short bouncer immediately gets the drunk in a choke hold. The hysterical wife is yelling, "he's my husband"  over and over.

The head bouncer finally gets the two bouncers to back off, and they immediately go inside the bar.  The drunk man is completely lost in what had just happened, and quickly gets in the cab.   

When I get drunk, I get horny and extremely friendly, so I can't relate to the belligerent drunk behavior, but it was an entertaining few minutes right after work.
