Mathematic Art (Remember the Spirograph?)

I am currently delving into the art of mathematical equations. I didn't listen in math class but I am certain that if it was taught to me in a more visual context, I would have excelled!  I love to draw but never in a million years would I have figured out that each mathematical equation creates it's own piece of incredible art.  Just by linking lines together on a grid, you can create some of the most intriguing and mind blowing pieces.  I took a sampling from Mathologer and Google to show you what I mean. Enjoy!!!  It brings me back to the days of sitting on the living room floor with my brand new Spirograph!

The colors, the shapes, it was magical.  Well, it may seem magical but did you know that each equation in math represents a visual piece of art?  It's so stunning to see what a multiplication problem becomes when it is all graphed out.  Let me show you some cool stuff.

In real life the Mathologer  is a math professor at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and goes by the name of Burkard Polster
