Today at 10 a.m., at the school where my son studies, the Project Closing was carried out. The chosen theme was: The human body. The teacher was in charge of giving a word of welcome to the parents and representatives present. Then, the children demonstrated the various activities established during the development of their project. Among these we have: How is the human body constituted, identify the parts of the human body, among others.

Many children had stage fright, stuttering, stress, panic, crying, even my son was one of them, while other children managed to defend the project correctly. As they are very small, the teacher informed us that each child had to be accompanied by his representative and, if the child did not decide to make his presentation, the representative was in charge of exhibiting.


### **If you want your child to defend your project successfully, consider the following:**

* **Activities in classes:**  Participation in the classroom is a guarantee that the child is analyzing and investigating the topic of their project. It is highly recommended to do this type of activities in the classroom, since this affirms that the child does not have any type of distraction and, therefore, the teacher observes the qualities and difficulties that the child presents to help them overcome adversity.

* **Use support material:** Having tools or support material helps the defense of the project to be more fluid. We can implement billboards, drawings or any material that represents the subject that will be exhibited.

* **A simple language:** In order to be able to perform well, the child must know the subject of his project. Sometimes the theory may contain some words or phrases that the child does not know or dominate, it is because of them that the use of synonyms and appropriate words will make it easier for the child to understand the topic and also have more fluidity in their defense.

* **Practice very often:** For a long period, children prepare to defend their school project. Before defending your project, it is recommended that the child be exposed in front of his parents, teachers and classmates, as this will help him to have more confidence the day of the presentation of his project.

* **Unconditional support:** The support and dedication we provide to our children is the main basis of their success. Principally, parents and teachers must be participants in the child's learning, it is essential that they feel supported, that they correct their faults in a good way and help them feel more secure.  Be very careful with the method you use to correct children, remember that learning does not include screaming or mistreatment.

* **Reward the child for each achievement:** Always congratulate the child for each achievement and reward him, whether it be with a cake, a cookie, an ice cream, a ride, etc. This means for them an excellent reward to fight for.
