The 2nd match of the series played between Ireland vs South Africa yesterday at Civil Service Cricket Club, Belfast. South Africa beat Ireland by 42 runs and won the three match T20 series by 2-0. Ireland need to win the 3rd T20 match to avoid whitewash.

South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first. South Africa haven't start well. They have lost their top orders at early. Proteas have lost total 5 wickets for scoring only 58 runs. De Kock scored 27 runs in 20 balls including 5 fours. After losing 5 wickets David Miller and Mulder came out and made 58 runs partnership. Mulder scored 36 runs in 26 balls including 2 fours and 2 sixes. Miller scored unbeaten 75 runs in 44 balls including 4 fours and 5 sixes. Finally South Africa scored total 159 runs by 7 wickets. 

Irish all rounder Stirling picked up 2 wickets for only 12 runs in 3 overs. Mark Adair also picked up 2 wickets. Craig Young, Joshua Little, Simi Singh each picked up 1 wicket.

In reply Ireland haven't start well. They have lost hard hitter Kevin O Brien for zero runs. Then there was a wickets in Irish family. Shane Getkate scored only 24 runs, Paul Stirling 19 runs, George Dockrell 20 runs. And finally Ireland packed up for 117 runs. And South Africa got the easy winning. 

Proteas bowlers performed really well. Tabraiz Shamsi picked up 3 wickets for only 14 runs in 4 overs. Bjorn Fortuin also picked up 3 wickets for only 16 runs in 4 overs. Beuran Hendricks picked up 2 wickets, Lungi Ngidi and Aiden Markram each 1 wicket. David Miller was player of the match for his outstanding innings.
