![PXL_20210613_132511072_edited.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/sagesigma/EoAaDnUjpAoUg2sjQeNDBACYwTQtz2dJh1WKxhkGspP8ucXop8aAPppMsdfzu3iziUW.jpeg) For this #sublimesunday, my daughter and I took in our backyard this morning while mom got breakfast ready for us. Beating the heat (just barely), the 80F temperatures weren't bad yet. I mean, we're on day 8 of heat indices in the +95F. Where did spring go??? ![PXL_20210613_133208558_edited.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/sagesigma/EoyQ2Pvt9jG19AUaPK1vBGXZmLaqwuor3nxQiKE3A49B9eQ3BjgAqTqrXT5iXefNhu5.jpeg) Coffee and flowers, of course, to set the mood. ![PXL_20210613_132923496_edited.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/sagesigma/EoK5HaW5gCkMmBedQb11EN7umyqGAde2M62JpVugJftu9Qwy6eC8MhumrXjaJwFkjQk.jpeg) We found some new fungus in the backyard. Hattie loves finding mushrooms! ![PXL_20210613_132953223.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/sagesigma/Eou8Dgq7P1Ngv3tbWJyoduGB56h6qEXdWksBpbE6VRyu1rsTMby5UdfeToxE4YfwbTQ.jpg) The clover in our backyard is ridiculous. I haven't sprayed the backyard for weeds due to our daughter and dog being on it every day. Maybe I can forage some of it and make some tea this week...and apparently not die from cyanide poisoning? I guess that's a thing with clover? ![PXL_20210613_133709367_edited.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/sagesigma/EoK4sD7EwkedTwy1CDhWdTeG6iEuSsenknHQKMMuvgQLkiAmVFSQxAFTQXE9iBejs4c.jpeg) We then made some mushroom and clover soup, with a spot of dirt thrown in for good measure. Don't worry, we didn't actually indulge. No trip to the emergency room needed this morning, thank you1 ![PXL_20210613_133842019_edited.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/sagesigma/EoEoXiKH4xHCRHbSBr88SnisctSLiZtvxiLqW5ewcTGW2d4xf5SWBabHbZTED8JLbiy.jpeg) We then checked up on the garden; the rabbit fence is holding up and keeping the rabbits at bay. ![PXL_20210613_133030713_edited.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/sagesigma/EpJWjFcQ393k6rmitUKxFCbj4kBzPrebEi6qrzU8PX7nm6Kma9g93aJyFmHccqbrc24.jpeg) But our favorite part of the morning was looking at the daisies growing in our alley. I've intentionally not cut them or sprayed them with salt water/vinegar...it's always nice to see them year over growing through the cracks in the asphalt. A gentle, small reminder that you can't stop nature and life. It always finds a way. ![PXL_20210613_132523099_edited.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/sagesigma/EoCg8QAKzSvU9p1bYsRoDMaaQ78GUYeFxi6TdC4BkhDzpfxx5umQpQ68hNkVnw8HVGX.jpeg) <br> ![PXL_20210613_132529132_edited.jpeg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/sagesigma/Eo8SMRjchajpL1FoGJyDxELvkEKBiACAgX7siBAHDUVyCRB2mGSAYtwJnP4yUMGSegL.jpeg) And then it was off to breakfast. Easy enough to kill some time, explore the backyard, and find some new things growing amid the weeds. Hoping everyone else out there is having a wonderful Sunday too; until next weekend...

I love daisies, they are such sunny little things! It's so lovely to see them growing on their own, just trying to brighten up somebody's day!

I know, I've really grown to pay better attention to wildflowers of late. It's been running photographing plants and then attempting to ID them after the fact. Key word is "attempt", though
