For this week's #beersaturday fun, I am sticking my guns and staying alcohol-free through the rest of the year.  That puts me at roughly three weeks without a proper beer.  Why torment myself?  Good question...good question...

This is a hazy IPA entry from Athletic.  To be honest, it's actually pretty good.  Like really good.  There is a bit of that wort taste at the end of it, but the hop bill is most tasty.  This one is filled with Amarillo, Citra, and Mosaic hops.  Yum.

It's just a bit old, with a pack date of late September.  Yet, the hops still taste really good.  My guess is that if you could get this one even fresher, you could drink this all weekend long and not deal with the hangover.  That is if you enjoy a good IPA...

Athletic has been making a few NA beers for a while.  I might try another six-pack next weekend if I can find something interesting in the NA department.

With all the free time I have of late, we decided to make some shrimp and pasta for dinner.  Here were (half) of the results :

Not a bad little dinner with some french bread and IPAs, even though it was an NA.  I'd say the past two weeks of NA beers have been successful.  Yeah, it's not quite the same as the real thing, but it's not bad if you were to want to go on a cleanser too.

And look at that...I finally got a haircut!
