The Robin - a Christmas tale
Hello Hivers!

As Christmas draws closer I thought I would share a traditional Christmas bird with you. Always associated with Christmas, The red breasted Robin is an absolute joy with its pretty song - both males and females sing beautifully but it is the male who sports this beautiful red breast. This one was sitting and singing in a pine tree in my garden so I could not resist snapping these pictures. Maybe I should turn them into Christmas cards! 😀
