*I'm back from a 2 days retreat where unconditional love floated in the room like a pink mist, palpable. Here is some thoughts about life and the healing of inner suffering.*
# Brain is like clay. It can be reshaped, and it keeps the imprint of directed and undirected work done on it.
We are pieces of art. We are not abstract art since we evolve within a context and an epoque. Like clay, we harden with time.
This is the law of hypnotic rhythm.
The artistic process is also the search for means of expression through trial and error. The intention behind a piece is often to convey a message or to suscitat feelings, emotions or provoque critical thinking about the context it relates to. The art making is also often a collaborative effort.
Here on earth, we are shaping ourselves actively. Together we hold strong.
Alone, in isolation, nothing meaningful can be done. In isolation, we step aside the vortex of life and we deprive ourselves from emotions. This is the mastermind principle. Emotions are what move us, within and inside out.
# In a group, the power of communication through emotions is tremendous
when directed toward releasing oneself from past psychological injuries.
Sitted in circle where everyone is listened to, empathy lives. Speech and words become unnecessary, the heart feels - beyond one's need to understand the story of the person speaking.
It softens the hard clay and allows the closing of unresolved past experiences that had left scars and ridges in ourselves. The heat of the sun within and the soothing power of love, together, make it possible. So quickly.
Do alone, it would be like trimming dry clay; Fastidiously masking the scare by releasing dust around. Within the group, in its power and protection, the hand can properly touch the wound, softened to the point of making it disappear by a pressure from tip of the finger. This is forgiving happening, unfolding. It doesn't create dust.
Love, floating in the air, palpable and tangibly felt during one of these moments of group work, carries away everything in a stream of long held tears. The warmth of a hug, a should offered as a support. The peace and the silence of the mind contrasts with the sob resounding in the room.
## To be present in such moment is profoundly moving and beautiful. A living landscapes of oneness of the kind captured in Zen painting.
Every element is there. The long held tears, silenced sob, like a mountain river finally gushing out of a caverna. The cold stream released by glacier; The slow process of melting. Transformation.
The past personal experience a person processes by sharing to the group are sometime rough, traumatic in their sudden happening. To the image of a landslide that gave the shape to a mountainside. And as I gaze upward, to the horizon, I contemplate the beauty of the valley, the chain of summit, illuminated and radiating the pink light of the sunset. Each person present here in the circle is like a mountain. Human releasing a pain; the beautiful spectacle of a mountain brook releasing long held crystallized pain formed over the course of winters and winters of holding onto what once felt on us.
# This is what holotropic breathwork is about.
Catalysis. the maturing of the butterfly within. The expression of unconditional love.
Having experience it four times, each over the course of a 2 days retreat in the last 3 years, I can tell undoubtedly that **this is one of the most beautiful experience given to live in a human life.**
One that will leave a subtle, but lasting impression. The insight of compassion and empathy. It glows, it is tangible, it moves within us and to each others, floating in the room like a invisible pink nebulas.

Be open to it. It may be disturbing to watch from an outsider perspective. The sacredness of that experience emerges naturally from an initial and symbolic ritual where each person commits the be present during the whole duration, to respect confidentiality and privacy, to refrain from indulging in impulsions and additions. Once the safe framework is set, everything flows beautifully. Even the worst trauma find echo within each one; and the scream of sorrow, sadness, anger and grief dissipates in the infinity of love and compassion; for and from each other - to only leaves peace within.
