<div class="text-justify"> Most times, people tend to assume that the solution to their problems is farfetched, but with the application of common sense and logical reasoning, the solution can be gotten. In life, anything that will exclude your common sense and tend to shift the responsibility to another person or another thing is trying to make you irresponsible. The truth is, there is a place of wishing, there is also a place of praying, but this does not override the place of common sense. The reason you have a functional brain is for you to put it to use when required. <center></center> <center>Image from [Pixabay](https://pixabay.com/illustrations/psychology-brain-think-head-stairs-6852458)</center> If wishes are everything in life, then everyone would have been successful. There is a need to engage your mind in logical reasoning to create the solution to your problems. You will agree with me that everyone has a deposit of common sense but the extent to which you use your own is entirely dependent on you. Yes, common sense may not be readily common but a measure of it is embedded in everyone. Common sense, most times, is without recourse to your educational qualifications and status, but how well you can put your mind to work. Many people have a long prayer list because of their inability to utilise their common sense well. Take for instance; if a student wants to sit for an exam, it is not a time to engage in a marathon prayer, but common sense should tell him that he needs to engage his mind to study his books. It is when he obeys the dictates of common sense that he will pass his exams. You see, part of what others are seeking for as solutions lie just within the reach of their common sense. The more you progress in life, the more you will understand that it will require responsibilities for you to move from one level to another level, and common sense will guide you through taking the responsibilities. Sometimes, when you hear people talking about "hoping and wishing", some of them are born out of laziness. The truth is, for there to be a reaction, their must first be a preceding action. Expecting a reaction without initiating an action first will be futile. If a farmer, for example, hopes to get harvest from the farm that he had not planted anything, he will hope in futility. For him to have harvest, common sense and logical thinking should tell him that he should plant first. Not just planting and going back to sleep but planting and observing all the required farm practices (like weeding, fertilizing, etc), that is only when he will expect harvest. You see, he only needs to put his brain to work and the solution will be right before him. <center></center> <center>Image from [Pixabay](https://pixabay.com/vectors/brain-key-psychology-antique-2773466)</center> Some of the financial bottlenecks that people run into can be solved by just applying common sense. For example, you should understand that every income that comes into your hands should not be spent voraciously. You need to separate some for investment, then save some. By this, you are bracing up for unforseen circumstances and you will have what to fall back on if financial challenges come. If you are quick to engage in impromptu buying; especially on things that you do not need; if financial challenges come, it may result in you selling what you need to survive. By simply taking your brain along with you, there are some problems that you can easily solve and some errors that you can avoid. For example, before speaking, if you will put some thoughts to it, you will know how and what to speak so that you will not be snared by the words of your mouth. ***Thanks for reading*** <div class=phishy>Peace on y'all</div> https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/samminator/htu0yqPT-unknown-2.png https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/samminator/242humvD58PJ6Y9Tgr8yEcPhbgmtiQCBYijcLDxqsQrjETUiqVUGwaYMZX3uuxN1C9fV6.gif </div>
