Most, if not all, of the problems in relationships arise from lack of communication between the parties involved. When one party starts assuming without asking, then problem is already brewing because assumptions have propensity to be wrong. Do not assume that "he knows this..." "she knows that...", it does not hurt a bit to have a proper dialog or communication instead of assuming blindly.

Many things may appear true in your assumption but in the reality of it, they may not be anywhere near being true. The bane of relationships is not only limited to lack of communication but it includes wrong communication. 

I'm sure many of you have heard the joke about how a man mistakenly skipped letter "e" in the end of a sentence and blew up his relationship. This is what happened: He travelled for a work-related tour. In one of his tours, he visited a very magnificent tourist centre. He took out his phone and quickly texted his wife "This place is really amazing and I'm having fun, I wish you were her". The "her" in the statement should be "here". Now read the statement again with an "e" added.

This may look humorous but many relationships have crashed based on seemingly minor mistake that stems from wrong communication. No doubt, humans are not perfectly immune to errors, this is why you should not always take things based on face value. Try to enquire the reasons behind actions and inactions.

It is so hilarious how an outsider will tell someone something about their partner and they will take it hook, line and sinker without even verifying the truth. Okay I ask you, what if the person's aim is just to destroy your relationship and possibly take your place? Do not look at it as being impossible because the hearts of some people are desperately evil and venomous.

There might be disagreements but do not allow it to becloud your sense of reasoning. Through proper communication, you will realize that it is actually possible to welcome an idea without agreeing with it. 

Always remember that the things that spoil the vine may not be as big as the dinosaurs, but just the little foxes that may be overlooked. If you need a healthy relationship, then you must, of necessity, embrace good communication.
