The greatest robber of happiness is when your happiness is based on your material possession. No matter how much you have acquired, there is someone that has more possession than you, so if your happiness is based on possession, lack of contentment may set in when you see people that have more possession than you. This is why your happiness should come from within you and not from "without".

Maybe someone needs to know this truth: Even if you have very little possession, it may shock you to know that someone out there will be happy to have much less than what you have.

Do not allow what you have or the lack of it to put pressure on you. Believe me, once you start comparing your possession with someone else's own, pressure will set in and your happiness will be attacked seriously.

The truth is; many people can do anything just to have a little of what you have now, but here you are, comparing it with other people's own. Your aim should not be to compete against anyone or to beat their record, your aim should be to beat your own record. By doing so, you will keep getting better and you will lay less emphasis on what anyone thinks about you, and ultimately, your happiness will be preserved.

Y'all need to understand the fact that just like shoes are in various shapes and sizes, people are also in various classes. Because someone can afford a lambo and you cannot does not make you a failure - you may not know how long it took him to get to the point of lambo. Believe me, it is unwise to compare someone else's destination to your starting point. Just focus on building yourself and you will find true happiness.
