When someone tells you something, there is a probability that you may forget it over time. However, when you discover how to get something done (through trials, errors, corrections, etc), you will not be quick to forget it. Whenever you are to try something new, remove the mentality of failure, cos mistakes do not equal to failure. Mistakes only become failures when you have failed to learn something from them to make yourself better.

You will be surprised to know how many times many successful people had to try until they hit their mark. Success is not reserved for people who easily quit after their first mistake. Your mistakes have one purpose; either to break you or to make you - this is dependent on how you react to the mistakes.
