The journey of life and to success is not the one expected to be paved with gold, you have to expect to meet undulating tracks.

Anybody that tries to tell you that life is absolutely void of challenges is not helping you to grow and to assume responsibilities. Life is not a function of "if you walk through fire" but "when". To be careless of challenges is to become a victim of the same challenge in the long run. Getting prepared to face the challenges is a prerequisite to overcoming it.

More often than not, there must be a contention before victory is declared. Expecting challenges to fizzle away without contending with them is to expect in futility. Being met by challenges is not within your choices to make. You only have the choice of when and how you want to confront it.

The same storm that sways away other birds is what the eagle leverages on to ascend higher - simply because it chooses to align its wings in line with the direction of the storm. Only kids complain of challenges. What legends do is to leverage on the challenges to ascend higher.

The same challenge that someone else is complaining about is the same challenge that others are welcoming with open arms and using to shine to the world. As a matter of fact, it is in solving the problems and challenges of the world that success beckons. The rank of General in the army can never be earned without going to war and facing combats. In the same way, dodging challenges is like excluding yourself from success. It is time to stand and confront the challenges as they come and you will realize how cheap they are.

The presence of challenges and opposition should give you the hope and assurance that you are actually making a considerable effort. The only thing you need to figure out is ways you can turn the supposed enemies into your allies, and that only comes when you have confronted the challenges. Always bear this in mind, the challenges that your refuse to confront will not only remain but will also multiply to create more fierce challenges.
