Think Of Tomorrow

<p>A friend of mine once made this comment and I read some deep meaning into it:</p>
<blockquote>Sometimes we get overtaken by the thoughts of "what we want to do", but we tend to forget "what we need to do".</blockquote>
<p>I looked at the statement critically and I realized something; it doesn't matter what we convince ourselves to do, if it does not affect a least one life positively, then you may have a rethink.</p>

<p>Have you considered asking yourself this very critical question?</p>
<blockquote>What will the world (and posterity) remember you for when you're gone?</blockquote>
<p>Sometimes we do not consider the fact that our actions and inactions are like seeds we sow; and a seed is justified by the type of fruit it brings forth. Have you ever thought of tomorrow? There's a question you should ask yourself, and if your answer is in the negative, then you may re-consider and retrace your steps:</p>
<blockquote>Would you want to meet someone like you when you're looking for help?</blockquote>
<p>This question may sound funny, but it is deeper than it may appear. Can I tell you something? Helping people does not mean they merit it, but that's why "mercy" exists, and one thing I know is this: "Those that show mercy never lack mercy".</p>
<p>Remember this line from Tin Man (Collosus) from Deadpool:</p>
<blockquote>The moments that matter in life are the moments your are offered an opportunity to &nbsp;make a sacrifice, conquer a flaw, save a friend, and spare an enemy. - Tin Man</blockquote>
<p>The last part; "spare an enemy" speaks volume. <code>It could be the enemy you spare today that would save you tomorrow.</code></p>

<p>Mercy is not qualified for, but you should not deny people of it. Try to give room for a second chance; you wouldn't know the positive changes it would go to effect in the person's life. What of third chance? Well, in my opinion, there could be another second chance (you can call it third chance). Just try not to be straight-jacketed to a particular principle; be flexible at all times.</p>
<p>Here's the sincere truth: If second chances never existed, some of us would be very lonely right now. If you've ever received second chance in your life; no matter how small; then do it to others.</p>

This article is so profound and I feel the author has poured himself into this piece. 

The little things we do really do have impact on our future. We shouldn't forget that we won't be the last on earth. Posterity will not forgive us  if we leave the earth worse than we met it. We owe it to them to at least leave it the way we met it if we can't make it better.
