Logs easing along the flume.
Heading towards natures doom.
The chipper awaits, teeth so hungry.
Grinding up every last inch.

Drink up the last.

From the shaking branches falls a single seed.
Burying its shivering form into the soil.
A sliver of hope lies within.
Pushing its way firmly towards the sky.

That sunshine won't wait forever.

Tending to its own, the forest curls above.
Sheltering from the withering storm.
The sun the moon and the stars.
All too harsh for this little sapling.

Just let it be.

Let the shoot fly with the siblings.
Once the clones take over.
Splicing and dicing we fertilize the lot.
Spreading our growth with soot and snot.

The garden never lies still.

Potash and lime to salt the earth.
Keep the saline back, we need more tracks.
To pad between the bowing heads.
So full of knowledge.

The high road awaits.
With her green thumbed queen.
She will never rest, supine.
And always so serene.
