Greetings!

The advent of technology and its devices has really brought a new dynamic to the daily activities of every human kind. It's really brought the world closer to everyone and made life easy to live without stress.

Like I said earlier,  the development of phones, apps and other technological gadgets has really brought about exposure to us and to me it's a welcome development. 

Having said and analyzed the effects of technology and its devices on the human race, i would like to discuss my opinion with the topic of the indiaunited weekly prompt which is about my honest take on Ai either as a tool or threat.

Before I continue with the discussion, i would like to remind us that one of those developments that science and technology had brought to us all is AI (Artificial intelligence).

The advent of AI has brought ease to the human race as we no longer stress ourselves to get the needed answer to the problem facing us as humans.

In fact, the advent of AI can be likened to a new era of finding solutions to the long standing human problem in every field being in medicine, academics and so on. So, going by this, the AI is a good tool to human beings and it's really served its purpose of finding solutions to the unanswered question of every human being.

However, as good as Ai is, there's another side of Ai that poses threats to human existence. One of the negative sides of AI to the human race is that it's brought laziness to the world.

Though, it's a good development to find answers to humans' unanswered questions, but the way we go about it is so worrisome. So many people now depend on AI to do things for them, most especially those in academics. Just yesterday, I asked someone whom I used as a referee to help me write a letter as required by the organization which I applied to for employment.

So, the person promised to help me to write the letter and immediately he finished writing the letter, he sent the letter to me for proper verification and on checking the letter, I discovered it's copied from the Ai.

How do i know this, i got to know by the inscription on the top of the letter which says, “Here is the answer i was able to generate and if you want further explanation, let me know so I can break it down for.” when i saw this, i was so disappointed in the man, but when i realized that i was also a victim of this, i let it go and drafted another letter myself without using the Ai, but this took me much of my time than expected. So, Ai has brought laziness to humans' daily activities. 

No wonder some are even saying that if care is not taking, Ai may take over and retire them to doing nothing which means, if proper care is not taking, so many people will lose their hard earned job to Ai, but i don't think that's possible, but one thing i know is if man stopped to be productive, Ai might be the next option to the employers of labour which would be a slap on human race and big threat to the human race and their coming generations. 

In conclusion, Ai is a good tool but there's nothing with a good bad without its bad side and now, the bad side of Ai can be so disastrous as if care is not taken, it would render humans to be lazy and subsequently jobless.
