**Do you know some people are heavily invested to see Hive become great?**

**Do you know that Hive is much more than a social Blockchain?**

I could go on and on with these questions as there are a lot of them. Over time, I've come to realize that Hive is much more than a social blockchain. To me and alot of people, Hive is life. 

Recently, I shared my plans of Onboarding my friends. The thing is, telling people about Hive becomes easier as the day goes by because I now feel part of Hive. It's like telling someone about your personal relationship with your partner. The more connected you are, the easier you get. 

I was asked, Aside the financial benefits, what else have you gained spending time on Hive. The answer to this question came very natural - "Friendships built with Trust"

Those days when I worked as a Marketer with a crypto Dev. who creates tokens shit coins under the binance smart network, I understood the meaning of trust in the crypto world.  Even though all I did was shill tokens, I got to see the bigger picture, The relationship between Money & Trust. 

Then Bnb was trading at 500-600 dollars, but yet people were ready to invest about 2-3 bnb on pre-sale, even when the whitepaper or roadmap didn't look as attractive as it should. It was a case of trust, not just for the team, but in the projects itself.  I realized the word "TRUST" no longer exist after the covid crash. After the last project died, I've received alot of private msgs on telegrams by scammers who claim to be shilling experts.

The world in general is not safe, the crypto world isn't too. Yes, people still invest in shit-coins now, But 80% of them understand it is pure gamble and do not risk so much.

#### The Reputation System

Hive is structured in a way that allows people to grow their reputation in different ways. The obvious one is to try to grow the number next to your name which I think people respect it here alot. Another way is to live your truth! It a social network and people reckon with truth. Living your life on the block chain increases your reputation. 

It's funny how different people here have their personal reputation system. 

Nothing beats the truth, I believe being honest and showing up everyday would increase scores in many people's reputation book.

#### The True Definition Of Social Media

The term social in regard to media suggest that there must be communication. Social media aids creating and sharing ideas. According to Wikipedia, Social media are interactive Web 2.0 Internet-based applications.

Now Wikipedia classifies social media as a web 2 based applications because of the whole idea of "content generation" and ability to interact with websites.
 
I believe with time everyone who understand how much difference the definition of social media has changed with Web 3.0

While centralized social networks have dominated in Web 2.0, the networks in Web 3.0 are totally decentralized and with Hive a very good example, We have another definition for how social media operates which I believe is true.

#### In Conclusion...

While I'm certain that alot of things would change as to how social media would operate in the upcoming years, I currently feel Hive might just be all I need to improve my social life, because over the period I've spent here, I've made friends that I haven't made on twitter or Facebook or any web 2 based application.
