The society we are in today have placed to much emphasis on the Age factor and this has misled lots of people even leading to depression and other unimaginable things. The real truth is not everybody will achieve certain things at the so called "society set age" because we all have different timing and purpose to fulfil. 

Age is not a big deal. So no pressure whatsoever

Back to the questions:

> Can you date someone older than you as a man, Likewise, can you date someone younger than you as a lady?

Well, my Ex is 2 years older than me and we dated for almost 2 years with no issues regarding the Age factor. It boils down to maturity, understanding of purpose, respect for each other among others.

Maturity is not by Age.

> Do you think of age as a priority in living life?

> What age are for certain things in life (marriage, school e.tc)?

So, for both questions...

Hmmmm it is depending on situations. For instance, when it comes to achieving goals and one's desire, age should not be a priority because I believe that the time anyone choose to sit up and chase realistic goals, it is still achievable. 
We have heard stories of old people going back to school and taking major u-turns in life.

Though when it comes to certain things life itself has placed age limits on, age at this point can become a priority but not a burden to cause worry.
For example, a woman who wants to give birth to her own children definitely knows she must have them before her menopause age. She can't wake up at age 90 hoping to have a child unless she is Sarah.

Lol😂😂 why not?  If you are truly sure he is serious and that's who you want. I don't see a big deal here.
While waiting you can get busy upgrading yourself and building your future together by making plans. Don't fold your arms, do something to grow and explore too.

Let me answer this first before i dive into this main talk because its relates personally to me anyways the bonus question

It depends, first on maturity and responsibility level of the guy in question i am suppose to wait for...

And its also depends on the meaning of wait, **wait for marriage** or **wait to continue a relationship**

If it is to continue a relationship definitely yes, there is no harm in waiting expecially if it was a good relationship from the start and both hearts are knitted into each other.

But for marriage , you go wait tire, because no fresh out of school guy will tell me he is ready to settle down, no job, no financial stabilty.

There is one thing we should understand, marriage is not all about love.. love inside marriage is like 20% so if love is the reason you want to wait and marry this particular school guy then .. its the ladies cup of tea but as for me I MOVE...

See eh there is one thing i live by, i never see anyone or judge anyone by their age, not even myself.....alot  of people have assumed my age so much that i just concur to what they say because age really does not matter.

The few areas that age counts could be jobs, nysc(30 years max) ,and in the hospital to help with the health.

Marriage , friendship, relationship.. age doesn’t matter. What matters is level of maturity.

I know a really young couple 25 and 21 ...newly wed if you have a conversation with them for just a few minutes you would be amazed at the type of knowledge that comes out from Their mouth.so young yet so rich in wisdom. 

I know a couple 23 and 45... shocking but i have stayed around this couple and the way they love themselves and God is admirable that i cannot even care so much about the age gap, it is easily forgettable and not noticeable if you are not told.

In age matter and relationship.. one man’s meat is another man’s poison..

But from my personal experience age really doesn’t matter.

Well to me, age is not really a barrier, I have seen series of family which the husband will be the same age with the wife or just some months when you guys have that real feeling and you don't care about the age barriers then you are good to go. But the Koko also is money..

I feel like relationships depend on maturity so yes I can; dated a few older people and let me say if someone doesn't have sense, nothing can change it.

To a point, I won't lie that it isn't, I wouldn't date a teenager or my grandpa.

I still care about a reasonable age gap.

There is no age for certain things; I went to school at 15, graduated at 19.

I know people who got married at forty; life doesn't have a manual.

If he has his plans right and I love him, why not, but I guess there will always be a fear that he will finish and leave after all the years of waiting.

I feel like there is no manual for love or relationships, what works for A might not work for B, we should all follow our hearts and when we get something worth it, these petty things shouldn't be a reason to throw it away.

When I think of age,  I remember that fool at 40 sentence. 

Age is just a number, the only thing that matters is maturity and how responsible a guy is. 

I would rather be with a younger person who is very well understanding than an older one who will feel like my father because he is older than me 😂


# Age for certain things. 

Well this used to exist in the past,  I had my plans for life and things I wanted to achieve at certain age. 
Maybe graduate from university @20 and all that but

It all doesn't matter anymore,  life happened to us,  Nigeria decided some of our fate. No matter how hard you push,  you can't achieve some goals at those certain times you have set,  stop killing yourself.
I have put in my best but some things are just out there to frustrate me, friends,  frenemy,  familienemy,  Countrenemy and things I never imagined can stand as a hindrance,  including African dark magic and juju 😂😂😂😁😁😁😀😀

Eweeeee,  the list plenty. 



And if you have become frustrated concerning this. 

Please have a rethink,  show yourself some love and take it easy. 

Qui cera cera. 

Be patient,  let it happen when it will... The right time for something might just not be the time you have set for it to happen.

### Age In Dating
As an African man, age is very important in what we do, our culture inclusive. And a man without a culture is a man without a foundation. 
It is un-African to get involved in a romantic relationship with someone older than you. 
Have you ever wondered why we have the age-grade system in nearly all the ethnic groups we have in Nigeria? It is simply because age is a very important criteria you cannot buy in the market.

Like I said, age is to be considered while living life. At different age, we have the medical laws by which we must live on so as to live healthily. 
As such, to live a comfortable life, age is to be greatly considered.

It would be abnormal for an adult to begin to learn what he ought to have learned during his early years. When a child is born, their is age for crawling, teething, walking etc
Constitutionally, a child (0-18) should not be involved in romantic relationship or live alone no matter the circumstances. 
If children within the age bracket mention above gets involved in a sexual relationship it is referred to as child marriage or statutory rape. 
If a woman must give birth to children, she must marry before menopause sets in....

### Marrying An Undergraduate Guy

I won't advice a lady to marry an undergraduate. Marriage is for those who have independence financially. It is far beyond what you are from the outside if you are not married. 
A responsible man should take the lead and must not utterly depend on the wife to provide the basic things of life, though there maybe exemption. 

Considering the nature of women, one must not thread on dangerous grounds on the platter that they have fallen in love. I will rather we fall in love with our eyes opened.
