And yet, when we feel into the vibration of the masses that are involved (not just the leaders, but the masses that are involved) within the conflict, it is a satisfying adventure. Wars are created because they are satisfying something within large numbers of people—or it would not be.

I do see the truth in this but I also wonder if this need isn't programmed into us from an early age with the idea of competition?  Even Esteban who is only 3 wants to compete, but this is clearly something he picked up online.  If the standard cartoon out there didn't focus on someone chasing or beating someone else in a competition, I wonder if children would ever even think about the idea at all?
