The child is thinking, and receiving vibrational thought from you on the day that he enters your environment. That is the reason that beliefs are transmitted so easily from parent to child, from parent to child, from parent to child. The child is vibrationally receiving your fears, your beliefs, even without your spoken word… If you want to do that which is of greatest value for your child, give thought only to that which you want, and your child will receive only those wanted thoughts.

As I read this, I start to worry about what I've been transmitting to my children. But, that's exactly what you're talking about..."give thought only to that which you want". So, I'm letting go of worry, and focusing on what I DO want. Thank you.

I hear my two year old say F**K in perfect context these days and only now have I become aware of how often I say this word!  So, more attention is being given to each moment... and am trying not to say it so much.

This post made me smile this morning.

I had my first son when I was 24 years old and then of course (being the responsible adult I now am) had my second son last summer at the age of 40 lol

16 years between the two....

And I see where I screwed up and messed up with my first. I'm beyond blessed and lucky he turned out good lol But for my second son...I truly believe what you wrote.

They mimic everything. Especially the negativity and fears.

The sooner I can curb those in myself, I think both my kids will be dandy :)

Thanks for the post and allowing me to reflect on fatherhood
