I find myself in the unfamiliar position of having spare fiat to invest into crypto today and wondered what the LeoFinance community has to say about potentially fruitful investments at this stage of the bull market?

Those of you who follow me regularly will already know this story but i advised my American brother back in 2018 to buy bitcoin and this led to him buying shares in MicroStrategy in 2022.  He invested over $1M and says he won't sell till bitcoin hits $1M, so he will ultimately do very well from this trade.  

When he contacted me with this news just a few months ago he asked for a bank account in my name so he could send me some money but after a decade without any connection to the banking system it wasn't easy 'getting back in the game'.  It is however done now and just in the last few days i received a lovely tax free gift from my brother.

Knowing the bull market is still on (from a four year cycle perspective) it feels crazy to be holding this money as dollars.

For this reason i am reaching out to those who have their ear to the ground.

Monero continues to look strong for example?  And future use case is obvious.

Even Hive feels as if the big moves are yet to come?

Looking forward to your suggestions.

Mostly now is the time to start offloading bags in the 3rd year of the bull cycle. Bitcoin is probably the only option I would consider now as it hasn't had the expected big move up yet.

But if we look back to 2017 (final year of the bull cycle) what we see is a parabolic phase for most alts.  I remember it well!  What makes you think that won't happen again?  

Bitcoin is always a good option for the long hold but at best it will double from here.  And that's optimistic!  Whereas lots of these alts are yet to even break out of their ATHs.

I sold most of my Hive tokens to buy Bitcoin. I keep a little here for HBD so that I can earn 15% … and use that to buy the Bitcoin dips and a few other layer 2 coins on Hive-Engine …. Meme, Pepe, Lolz, Fun, Bee, waivio etc ….. all my hive posts get downvoted to zero by a few angry jealous envious Hive Whales … so I am really not a big fan Hive at all. They censor people who have esoteric and mystical ideas.
