Pregnant cat, Esteban's six birthday & one month no tobacco!

For the first time in a long time I am no longer addicted to nicotine and this feels great!  It wasn't even difficult to achieve, but only because I am vaping home grown cannabis with this machine. Weed is of course a natural medicine and regular use is recommended in times such as these.

So the cat is pregnant!  Yes!  Seriously happy about this.

The gestation period is 58 – 67 days, so I think we have around a week left.

We made a birthing bed but it quickly became something else.

Esteban caught his first butterfly on his sixth birthday.

In other news I have been busy writing.  More and more people are starting to enquire about my dream of building a community here in the Pyrenees Mountains and one of them went and asked me for my proposal, including motivations & plans for the future.  I had nothing to give them so have spent the last two weeks putting it together.

I was thinking about my ancestors, who came by ship, not knowing what to expect, but hoping for freedom, opportunity, and a better life. They came the other direction, though! Now I'm trying to get back, but alas, the world has advanced since then, to the point where most humans can no longer get across the ocean. For all our technology, we haven't enough freedom to use it!

Thanks Alex.  Yep, this is my vape.  I should probably do a dedicated post on this, it is such an interesting subject.  A few people recommended it to me as a way to quit smoking and I just love it!  I've been adding mint from the garden to give it a fresh taste ;)

Congrats quitting nicotine! So good :) 
I  personally quit by saying this was the last I smoked, and never looked back, where my boyfriend needed his vape (with little nicotine) to quit smoking. I was already 3 months clean when he finally quit but he had such a hard time with it so 3 months isn't that bad in the end..

Oh boy I miss those little kitties when we had them. And the joy of feeling them in the belly, so nice! Can't wait to see the little kittie pictures, so please do share when they arrive :) your cat is so adorable anyway!

I don't remember catching a butterfly myself, but it seems Esteban had a lot of fun! lovely!

Well done for quitting so easily!  I was never much into smoking tobacco on its own but didn't know how to get stoned in an enjoyable (and functional) way which didn't involve tobacco.  The joint was just the simple way my whole life... until technology finally caught up!  This vape is called The Plenty.  Made in Germany.  Very efficient.

Appreciate you sharing your news!  Have you ever looked into creating free energy devices, as opposed to solar?  In recent days I have found that it is very much a real thing, not too hard to achieve, so am excited now to investigate this subject further!  Very excited too for kittens :) x
