Hello #openmic community friends, I'm @samuelstifen. Welcome back to all who have participated in this Open Mic Hive event. Hopefully our performance can bring warmth to everyone, including me. Today we have entered week 219 of the Open Mic event.

For Hive Open Mic 219, the following theme: "Traditional Music", chosen by : @ernesto6402 .

The theme he chose was very extraordinary, he was very right for us to bring our traditional songs and help us meet other cultures in the world. And I have seen many musicians here giving their work by performing their traditional songs and it was also very extraordinary.

Traditional music is unique music, maybe in every country or tribe, we have traditional music. And I will give you my traditional music or traditional songs from my country and the tribe I stand for.

So this week I brought a song entitled O Tano Batak (Batak Land) which was created by an Indonesian singer named Viki Sianipar and this song is one of the traditional songs from my tribe called the BATAK tribe. I didn't bring the Indonesian state song, but I brought traditional songs from my tribe, because in my opinion traditional music is not only determined in the country but every tribe definitely has traditional music or traditional songs. So with the theme of traditional music I presented songs from my tribe.

Oh Tano Batak song is a song that provides a deep meaning, that this song is about deep longing and very deep love for the land of birth, the land of Batak. The song O Tano Batak is an outpouring of a heart full of longing for Tano Batak (Batak land), the longing is so strong that it becomes flesh and blood. Maybe this song was given to someone who went to another village to improve their economy, but after all we were born from our hometown , we will definitely still want to go home even though we are fighting tooth and nail to improve our family's lives. Hopefully this song can inspire friends who are fighting in other cities and hopefully they will return home quickly.

This song was released in 2003 by Viki Sianipar, he is a very extraordinary singer and writer, he has created many works and he also provides very beautiful song arrangements.
