<p>Thanks for heeding my call and rushing here.&nbsp;</p>
<p>First of all, let me introduce myself. I'm a minnow.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I was wandering around Steemit for the first few days putting up some general content till I got a hang of the place. I have now settled down with a plan to add value to the community.&nbsp;</p>
<p>To that end, you will see that I'm investing heavily in my blog posts and they now carry some quality content. It is my promise that I will always endeavour to blog about what I genuinely want to share with you and not something that earns me some quick dough. With that thought, I decided to start holding a series of contests, three to be precise, on photography, quiz, and writing.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Yesterday, I launched my photography contest. Today, I will be launching my quiz contest. And tomorrow, my writing contest. These contests each run for a week. So please do participate if you can.&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>That was the introduction. To come to the reason why I called you urgently now, is... even as I was preparing for my quiz, I realized that I could do it a different way. One that will add more value to the minnow community. And, that is what I called you for.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>This is the idea: Every week, I request you to put a link to your best work of the week here on my weekly announcement page that I'll title the "Steemit Minnow Treasure Edition". I will go though all the links and pick one every week as the week's "winning" entry.&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p><strong>What the winner will get: A mention in my quiz contest. I will send all my quiz contest participants to your blog. This is because my plan is to base my quiz questions from the content on your blog. And the participants of the quiz will all need to read your blog before they are able to answer my question. </strong>Now, doesn't that sound like a brilliant idea? Apart from that, of course, all the upvotes that your friends and me will give you for your link here.&nbsp;</p>
<p>This is the support I can offer to my fellow minnows. And my contests are what I'm giving back to the community. We can all grow together. So, please, if you believe that this will work, either send me a link to an existing great post of yours or start working on your best post of the week and then come back and put a link here.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>For today's quiz, I will have the Steemit Minnow Treasure Edition open for 4 hours starting now.</strong> After that I will need to start framing questions and post my quiz. And it will be already night where I live. I understand that it is very short notice, but please do your best.&nbsp;</p>

@the-traveller, my intention is to bring all the best work over to one page, so as to give bloggers exposure and readers a treasure trove of content. It might take some time and effort to work up to that, but I'm going to try. I hope that you can help in spreading the word to the minnow community.
