That was how one was built in my community, and was fun seeing both young and old  gathering themselves to play matches or participate in any kind of event . Thankfully! You people are building one

Sports are wonderful, especially for young people to focus on profitable things that will keep them off the wrong path. It's great that you got the land for the playground and even though there is still a long way to go of hard work you are on the right track. I hope you can play that veterans game there next winter. What a shame that they have lost the space that they have had for many years where they would gather to play their favorite sport, but as you say, progress cannot be stopped. The good thing is that there is a good relationship with the construction company and they are contributing to the next recreation space that they will have.
I love the commitment of all the people to make this new recreational field a reality.

I really appreciate your meticulous effort in resurrecting a new ground. I really love the passion. A flat and wide field and greenery are imperative considering the congested urban areas and emerging heat waves. Even from a health perspective, it should be there in every locality.

Bhubaneshwar was full of greenery once upon a time, unfortunately, development has been manifested and mechanized at the cost of the environment. And coming to the question of replanting, unless it's a community approach and individual conscious effort, it won't be a reality.

I would love to see you playing cricket on the new ground.

The old location being developed is a bit sad, but that is expected in large areas of land. It is good that you were able to find/be provided with a new location. If there is a lot of support, can't they just make it a permanent place for the community?

It looks like you people love sports a lot in your community for you to decide to build another field even though the old one got destroyed by the infrastructure

Playing sports is very good physically. It is also very important to be physically strong.  And friend you are very strong physically

I love the community spirit in building the playground! The playground looks so big and it is good to see green space preserved alongside development. I hope it gets completed as soon as possible.

It's also heartbreaking to hear about the loss of the old playground due to infrastructure development. We are spoiled here for green spaces and parks. Park land is protected and I couldn’t imagine one being sacrificed for a roadway and not being replaced by city council or whatever government with something newer and better. 

Amazing you are involved in making this happen because a community grows and strengthens by meeting at its public places. Sports and physical activity are absolutely essential for active and healthy young people, and for us older people to stay young.
