That's really good that you people wear the decent clothing. Wearing decent clothes actually makes you look elegant. Moreover doing all the fashion and excessive looks are really overrated these days, people do like wearing what's decent because what I think is that most of the time I go out first I'm being noticied about how I dress up and seriously if sometimes you go out in the casual home clothes people just give you the worst looks ever.!

Dressing decently on some occasions is, let's say, frowned upon as it doesn't fit the style that the majority uses, but each of you prioritizes comfort over fashion.

Wearing Decent and Comfortable clothes with style is the best to go..... But i think teenagers should follow "जैसा देश वैसा भेस" (When in Rome, do as the Romans)

In the age we live in, there are superficial people who dress fashionably to attract attention. However, we are not valued by what we wear, but by who we are as people, our personality, how we behave with others, and our empathy.

The way you are raising your children is excellent, as is the wise advice you give them.

I take this opportunity to wish you a wonderful Sunday and a happy start to the week.

I really loved the way you connected comfort with personality. Today’s generation is becoming more modern day by day, and many believe that revealing their body makes them look more modern. But I personally feel that covering our body does not make us any less modern. In fact, by covering ourselves, we protect ourselves from unwanted attention.

I do understand that even girls who are fully covered can still become victims of unfortunate incidents, but I still believe that dressing modestly helps to some extent. Just like people use the example of a sweet kept behind a glass cover being safe from flies, I think girls who wear less revealing clothes are comparatively more protected.

Of course, everyone has the right to wear whatever they feel comfortable in, and I completely respect that freedom. But if someone asks me for my opinion, I will always support the idea of dressing modestly, just like you mentioned in your post.

A friend of mine recently sat for the cabin Crew Interview and I remember that she referred the H&M brand to me at that time. She told me that it is a nice brand with good comfort just as you mentioned in your blog.

Now that my husband and I are in our 40s, we’ve pretty much fully switched to sports brands—Nike, Puma, New Balance. I even buy sandals and kids’ clothes from them. For us, it’s definitely about comfort and quality.
At the same time, though, for kids, teens, and young people—it’s that moment in life when you want to feel like you just stepped out of a magazine. You want to live that stage of life in full color every now and then, even if wearing heels and short shorts makes you feel like you’re dressed up for Halloween. Not for every day, of course :)

Me too, I'm not comfortable wearing some revealing dress, just a simple shirt that I find comfortable and to stay out of possible bad happens.

Totally agree with you. Good that you are teaching mindful choices to your daughter. Feminist may say it's their choice to wear reveling dresses, but our choice should be qualified by the environment we live in as well as our comfort and optics in our comfort zone.
